Instructions

  1. Apply to the University of Wisconsin-River Falls.
  2. Complete the WiTEACH Leadership Program Application below and submit, OR print the PDF version.
  3. Complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at www.fafsa.ed.gov.
  4. Write an essay according the guidelines. Complete your essay before filling out the application, then copy it into the application.
  5. Obtain a letter of recommendation from a teacher, counselor, or professional who can attest to your potential in your chosen field of study.
  6. Submit a current or most recent unofficial transcript from your high school and/or college.

A 500-word essay explaining the reasons for choosing your particular field of study, your career goals, your plans for future study, and an explanation of why you should be selected in to the WiTEACH Leadership Program (essay guidelines). Write your essay in a word processing program and then copy and paste it below.

  • I understand that misrepresentation or fraudulent information may be grounds for loss of scholarship funds and/or required repayment.
  • I also understand that my application WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED if my application and essay are not completed as instructed; if my letter of recommendation and academic transcripts are not attached; and until the WiTEACH Leadership Program Office has received the results of my FAFSA from the Financial Aid Office.
