AASHE STARS Pilot Program Results for UWRF
The Association for the Advancement of Sustainability in Higher Education (AASHE) Sustainability Tracking, Assessment & Rating System (STARS) is the model that UWRF has been piloting over the past year in an effort to benchmark and quantify UWRF's success at reaching Goal 2 of the UWRF Strategic Plan, "to model and champion the principles of sustainable community development.” Nearly 70 colleges and universities participated in the initial pilot program provided by AASHE. The team for UWRF who gathered information and data for the credits was: Yunge Dutton, Matt Fitzgerald, Greg Koehler, Debra Martin, Keven Syverson and Mike Woolsey, with Kelly Cain, Director of SCISCD, as advisor and liaison.
