Pierce County Reproductive Health Information

Provided at no additional cost to students:

  • Pap smears and exams
  • Certain sexually transmitted disease testing and exams
  • Genital wart treatment
  • HIV testing
  • Pregnancy testing and referral information
  • Emergency Contraception

Prior to scheduling appointments, female students may want to learn more about the Wisconsin Family Planning Waiver Program.

Services provided at a reduced charge include:

  • Birth control pills and patch
  • Depo-Provera injections
  • Over the counter supplies (gels, foams, condoms, and dental dams) 

All reproductive health services are provided by female practitioners.

Clinic Location and Hours:
Pierce County Reproductive Health Services is located at 174 Riverwalk in River Falls. Students should call ahead for hours to obtain condoms and other nonprescription safer sex and birth control supplies, which can be obtained on a walk-in basis.

Appointments:
For health services, students must call ahead to Pierce County Reproductive Health Services at 425-8003 for appointments. 

What to Bring:
Presentation of a valid student I.D. is required. If students are covered by an insurance plan, they must bring insurance cards or information.

Who is financially responsible for services not covered?
Students are financially responsible for all services received at the River Falls Medical Clinic and Pierce County Reproductive Health Services that are not covered by Student Health Services.  Students should familiarize themselves with which services are and are not covered.

Taxi Service:
Taxi service by the River Falls Taxi at 425-7878 is provided for transportation to and from the Pierce County Reproductive Health Services at no charge with presentation of a valid student I.D.
