STUDENT HEALTH ADVISORY COMMITTEE (SHAC)
Purpose:
To serve as an advisory group regarding services and programming
offered through Student Health Services that promote healthy students
through a broad, integrated, contextual view of healt. Under Facilities and Fees of the Student Senate.
Scope of Concern:
1) To serve as an advisory group related to the various contracted
services offered through Student Health Services.
2) To represent student interests as they relate
to contracted services and other services and programming offered
through Student Health Services
3) To assist in marketing and developing student
awareness of services and programming offered to students through
their Student Health Services fee.
4) To assist in prioritizing and targeting health
related services and programming for students.
5) To provide input into the development, evaluation
and review, and improvement and enhancement of health related policies,
programming and services.
Structure:
1) Membership-
-Director of Student Health Services
-8 Students
-1 Budget Officer/Assistant to the Vice Chancellor for Administration
& Finance
2) Selection of members-
The committee shall be led by a student chair who serves on the
Facilities and Fees Board. This student will be elected by
committee members.
3) Responsible area director:
The Director of Student Health Services is responsible for this
area.

University Advisory Council on Health and Wellness
Mission: Students, faculty, and staff and community members who work collaboratively to identify and address health and wellness issues that affect UWRF students, faculty, and staff, in a broad, systematic manner, based on available data, information, and research. This would be accomplished through working Subcommittees focusing on specific issues.

Campus Sexual Assault Task Force
Mission: Students, faculty, and staff and community members who work to collaboratively assure education, resources, and services surrounding the issue of sexual assault on campus and in the community.

Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drug Coalition
Mission: To reduce alcohol and drug abuse and tobacco use and it's negative consequences among UWRF students.
