Wednesday 3:30-4:30 p.m. - Health Care in the 2008 Election:
Learn about Health Care in the 2008 Election. Discussion of alternative health care plans. Location: South Hall Room 224

Friday 8-Midnight - Beach Bash!
Get your physical activity by dancing and swimming at the annual bash. Location: Karges Gospel Choir

 

 

 

 

NEW this year: Form your own team!
In the past the teams were picked based on residential halls and academic buildings. This year you can form
your own team by getting at least five people together and picking a team name. The team with the highest average score wins.

What is the Challenge?
The UWRF Wellness Challenge is a FREE opportunity for ALL students, faculty and staff.  It encourages healthier living through physical activity, nutrition, safety and overall wellness.  This four week program is designed with incentives to develop a commitment to healthy lifestyle choices.

How do I participate?
The first step is to click on the link above and register for the Challenge. After registering, click on the links below to find the point breakdown and log sheet.
To earn points, simply complete the activities listed. One time points can be added onto your weekly total at any time. Each week submit your total number of points.


Incentives:
Prizes are given out each week to the individual with the most points and to the team with the highest average. Grand prizes will be awarded at the end of the challenge to the team and individual with the highest number of points.

Potential prizes include: free smoothies, YMCA guest passes, free group exercise classes, Lori's Day Spa Gift Package, pedometers, semester membership to the Strength and Conditioning Center and more!

Routine. Now that you've started to incorporate physical activity and healthier eating habits into your daily routine keep with it! Improving your overall wellness is a lifetime journey.

Wellness Challenge Rules
Rule #1:
Individually and as a team you can only win one of the weekly prizes, but you are still eligible for the grand prize.

Rule #2: You can only submit one time points once. These points can be submitted at any time during the four week period.

Rule #3: Start adding up weekly points on Monday. Every Monday your total starts over at zero. Keep track of your overall total for the grand prize.

Rule #4: Team winners are picked based on the average number of points of all the team participants. Make sure your teammates submit their points, so they boost your team average.

Rule #5: Be Honest!
