callersABOUT US

Housed in UW-RF's Regional Development Institute, the Survey Research Center conducts affordable surveys for townships, municipalities, cities, non-profit groups, school districts and other organizations.

The Survey Research Center (SRC) was started in 1990 by former UW-RF associate professor of agricultural economics, Larry Swain, and was expanded in 1995. The center was launched so that rural communities could get affordable, reliable information based on solid surveying methodologies.

The Center usually conducts between 25 to 30 surveys a year with 10,000-11,000 respondents a year.

The SRC employs students at UW-River Falls to mail surveys, complete telephone surveys, enter data, and other tasks associated with surveys.
