'Traveling Science Show': We are gearing up to visit Elementary, Middle School and High School classes. We need volunteers to help create our 'show' and of course volunteers to actually go 'on the road'. Hopefully we'll be able to do more shows this year. This is a LOT of fun!

Science Day Show: a one day event each Fall semester where we put on a Hands-On Physics Tour. We ALWAYS welcome volunteer tour guides, and we are always on the lookout for new and exciting experiment/activities to add to the tour. Science Day will be Friday October 6, 2006.

Creative Constructions: in the past we've had design competitions to build water powered rockets, bridges built from pasta and Jelloscopes (telescopes with lenses made from gelatin). What's next? Get involved and see!

Viewing sessions at the UWRF Observatory. We help out at the public viewing sessions held approximately every month during the school year. It's fun, especially with the cool new computer controlled telescopes! Get trained in using the new scopes and see what doors that opens for you.
