  News and Notes from the April 10, 2008 SPS meeting


Announcements/Reminders.
The meeting with a meal went well.  We had more food than people to eat it!
Public observing is a no go for this week.
Tuesday, April 15th there are two Student Organizations Website meetings. 
One session will be held from 1-2pm and the other from 6-7.  Chris F and
Matt C might go, as well as Dr. B.
Bowl for Kids Sake.  Please get any donations you are willing to give to
Bridget.
Design for Medical Devices Conference-see the note on the board in 113.
Pre-engineering Bridge Contest will probably be held on Monday.


Big Brothers Big Sisters.  We will be holding two shows next week, being
Wednesday the 16th from 4-5pm and Thursday the 17th from 3-4pm.  Sign up
on the clipboard in room 113 if you are interested in helping out!


Zone meeting planning.  6 other school plan on attending, bringing in
about 60 people.  Breakfast will be HERE in CSH on Saturday morning. 
Breakfast team?  (Andy is doing a BIG shopping run at Sam's Club).  With a
possibility of 3-5 inches of snow the observing is probably a no-go.  We
should talk to Dr. Korenic about doing a planetarium show.

Friday evening selling shirts (will pull from registration table)
Friday evening IR camera (Chuck and Matt C still working on that)
Should we still do the Trebuchet in the snow?  We're thinking yes!  So the
team that signed up last week still needs to bring it over sometime
Friday.  Procure melons?
Physics Jeopardy game.


No demo this week, but baby presents for Dr. McCann!
