Track
The Falcon 4x800 relay team of Indy Liljevall (Fr., Lake City, Minn. Lincoln HS), Nick Zeien (So., Hastings, Minn.), Scott Degner (Sr., Osceola, Wis.) and Alex Zeien (Fr., Hastings, Minn.) shattered the school record at the Drake Relays on Friday. They finished the race in a time of 7:39.42. The Falcons finished fifth in the event. The previous record was 7:50.64 set in 2006.

Track
Josh Dietze (Sr., Oconto Falls, Wis.) performed well for the Falcons in the two hurdles events at the Phil Esten Challenge held Friday. Dietze, 6-2, placed fifth in the 110-meter hurdles in 15.53 and eighth in the 400-meter hurdles in 59.44.

Clai Catto (Fr., Menomonie, Wis.) finished third in the high jump at the Gustavus Adolphus Invitational held Friday in St. Peter, Minn. Catto jumped 6-7 ½ and finished just behind the winner who jumped 6-8 ½.

Dan Rodewald (Jr., River Falls, Wis.) had two strong races in the Falcon Invitational held last weekend at Ramer Field. He won the 400 with a time of 50.65 and finished second in the 200 in 22.69.

Field
Nick Zeien (So., Hastings, Minn.) had a strong run in the 800 at the Stevens Point Invitational held Saturday. Zeien, 5-11, finished fourth in the race with a time of 1:55.8. His time is his best this year.

Clai Catto (Fr., Menomonie, Wis.) placed fourth in the high jump at the UW-Stout Open held Saturday in Menomonie. Catto leaped 6-5 ½ to earn the fourth place finish.
