Offensive
Midfielder Jen Terry (Sr., Shoreview, Minn., Totino-Grace HS) provided excellent leadership and ball handling for the Falcons in the team's two matches. She has a strong work ethic and works hard to improve each day, according to Falcon Coach Sean McKuras. Terry, 5-1, has nine shots on the season.
Defensive
Defender Kelly Piersak (Sr., Shoreview,Minn. Mounds View HS) led the Falcons with three shots against UW-Whitewater in the WIAC quarterfinal match. She continued her strong defensive play this week by leading the Falcons with her energy and ball control, according to Falcon Coach Sean McKuras. Piersak, 5-3, has two goals and two assists on the season. |

Offensive
Forward Kelsey Kizlik (Fr., River Falls, Wis.) played every minute for the Falcons in two contests. Against UW-Stevens Point, Kizlik deftly executed the game plan for the Falcons and helped to shut down the midfield. She has shown great leadership in her freshman season and continues to improve. Kizlik, 5-8, has two goals and two assists on the season.
Defensive
Goalkeeper Rachel Thompson (Fr., Cedar Falls, Iowa) recorded 12 saves in two games this week. Against Simpson College she played the first half and recorded three saves without allowing a goal. Against UW-Stevens Point she played the entire game and made nine saves. Thompson, 5-7, showed her athleticism by stopping a number of Pointer breakaway chances to help keep the Falcons close. |

Offensive
Forward Megan Church (So., White Bear Lake, Minn.) led the Falcons to a pair of WIAC wins with four goals on the week. On Wednesday against UW-Superior, Church dominated the match and scored the first three goals of the match to notch her first career hat trick. Against UW-Platteville on Saturday she scored the game-tying goal in the 79th minute to spark a late comeback win for the Falcons. Church, 5-4, is tied for the team lead with six goals on the season and leads the team with two game winners.
Defensive
Defender Amy Piersak (Sr., Shoreview, Minn. Mounds View HS) completed the team’s comeback on Saturday against UW-Platteville when she scored the game-winning goal in the 81st minute. The goal came off a free kick and was the second goal of the season for Piersak. In addition to her late game heroics, Piersak also anchored the defense in a week that provided two WIAC wins and allowed only one goal. Against UW-Superior on Wednesday Piersak, 5-6, had an assist and led the Falcon defense in an impressive effort that held UWS to zero shots for the match. |

Offensive
Forward Megan Rasmussen (Jr., Kasson, Minn. Kasson-Mantorville HS) picked a great time to score her first two collegiate goals. She scored twice to help lead UWRF to a 3-0 WIAC win at UW-Oshkosh on Saturday. The first goal came on a header at 15:38 and gave RF the early lead. Rasmussen, 5-7, then gave the Falcons some breathing room when she knocked home a shot off a scramble in front of the net at 73:57. She has two goals and five points for the Falcons this year.
Defensive
Defender Jessi Larson (Jr., Winona, Minn.) anchored the Falcon defense in a 3-0 shutout win at UW-Oshkosh on Saturday afternoon. The victory was the first WIAC win of the season for the Falcons. In addition to determined defensive play, Larson influenced the game with a key assist on the team’s third goal at 82:12. Larson, 5-7, has started all 12 games for the Falcons this season and has one assist. |

Forward Eryn Lansverk (Fr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) had two goals on 14 shots for the Falcons in the team’s two matches last week. Lansverk, 5-4, recorded the first multi-goal game of her career against Northwestern in a 7-0 Falcon win. She leads the team with five goals this season.
Defensive
Defender Amy Piersak (Sr., Shoreview, Minn. Mounds View HS) notched a goal and an assist on three shots for the week. She picked up the points in the team’s 7-0 win over Northwestern. “When moved up on the attack she created great opportunities for us,” said Head Coach Sean McKuras. In addition to the offensive production, Piersak, 5-6, continued her strong defensive play, clearing a number of balls from the RF zone. |

Forward Eryn Lansverk (Fr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) had one goal and four shots on goal this week in three games for the Falcons. Her goal against La Crosse was her third of the season, leading the team. Lansverk, 5-4, brings great energy to the Falcon offensive attack, according to Falcon Coach Sean McKuras.

Defender Jessi Larson (Jr., Winona, Minn.) provided the Falcons with physical play and cleared a number of balls from the River Falls zone in three games this past week. “Larson’s strong, consistent play has helped us keep games tight,” said Head Coach Sean McKuras. Larson is one of only three Falcons to start all of the team’s first eight games. |

Forward Eryn Lansverk (Fr., White Bear Lake, Minn.) scored two goals on six shots for the week with another shot hitting the post. Lansverk, 5-4, worked her way into the starting lineup for the first time this season with her aggressive, attacking style and strong ball striking to pace the Falcon offensive attack in three matches.
Defensive
Defender Jessi Larson (Jr., Winona, Minn.) stepped up her play and performed very well after senior defender Amy Piersak went down with an injury in the match against Concordia-Moorhead. Larson, 5-7, led the Falcon defensive effort that stood strong against two nationally ranked opponents. She also registered a shot on goal against St. Scholastica. |

Forward Kayla Scott (Jr., Kiel, Wis.) started the 2008 season well with some excellent play in the team's 2-1 loss to St. Thomas on Saturday. Scott, 5-8, scored the team's goal at 54:59 to tie the game at the time, 1-1. She ripped a shot over the goal keeper's hand from about 30 yards out.
Defensive
Defender Amy Piersak (Sr., Shoreview, Minn. Mounds View HS) has been one of the team's top defenders throughout her career and that was the case again in Saturday's 2-1 loss to St. Thomas. Piersak, 5-6, was the leader of the Falcon defense that kept St. Thomas away from good scoring opportunities. She cleared several balls from in front of the Falcon goal. |
