Aug. 30, 2007

Ben Gaddis returns for his fifth year as assistant coach at UW-River Falls. He holds USSF National "B" and "Y" coaching licenses, along with 18 years of coaching experience.

Gaddis has a long tradition of coaching and winning, including six Minnesota State Cup Championships and three Minnesota Youth Soccer Association State titles. He was the St. Paul City Conference Coach of the Year in 2000 while coaching the boy's varsity at St. Paul Highland Park, his alma mater. He is currently coaching with Minnesota's top girls' club, Bangu-Tsunami.

Gaddis played soccer at UW-Parkside from 1990-92. As a player, he helped the U19 St. Paul Blackhawks win a National Championship in 1990. This is the only boy's team to win a National Championship in the state's history. He spent six years as a Minnesota ODP/State select team member, and twice selected for the Midwest/Region II ODP team.

Gaddis currently resides in St. Paul's Merriam Park neighborhood with his wife, Ashley.
