Amber Lindner
G, 5-5, Senior, #35
Moorhead, Minn.
Moorhead High School

Amber Lindner returns for her fourth and senior season with the Falcons. She is the veteran goalie for the team and will be looked upon as a team leader. She has a career 2.00 goals against average and a .920 saves percentage.
2005-06: Lindner played in 22 games and finished with a 12-8-1 record with a 2.35 goals against average and a .916 saves percentage. She made 15 saves to record a 2-0 shutout over Lake Forest. She finished 17th in saves percentage, 18th in goals against average and 17th in winning percentage in the NCAA Div. III. Lindner was named the team’s and NCHA’s Player of the Week on Nov. 7. She was named to the NCHA All-Academic team for the second straight year. Lindner was named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll for the third straight season. She was named to the UWRF Dean’s List after both semesters.
2004-05: Lindner had another solid season for the Falcons. She played in 10 games and had one shutout vs. Superior (Jan. 23). She had a 2.08 goals against average and a .911 saves percentage. Linder finished 13th in goalie wining percentage (.667) and 15th in goals against average in the NCAA Div. III. She was named the NCHA Player of the Week on Jan. 24. She was named to the NCHA All-Academic team and to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
2003-04: In her first year with the Falcons she played in 11 games and finished with a 9-1 record with a 1.26 goals against average and a .939 saves percentage. She was fourth in winning percentage, sixth in goals against average and seventh in saves percentage in the NCAA final statistics. She had two shutouts – a 4-0 win over St. Benedict on Nov. 14 and a 3-0 win over St. Thomas on Jan. 13. She was named an All-NCHA goalie. Linder was named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
High School, Personal: At Moorhead High School, she earned All-State honorable mention honors in 2001. Linder participated in Minnesota Selects for three years. She was her school’s Most Valuable Player in 2000. She is the daughter of Jim and Becky and has four brothers and two sisters. Lindner is majoring in communicative disorders.

Jenny Wallace
D, 5-4, Senior, #16
Buffalo, Minn.
Wright County Blades

Jenny Wallace is back for her senior season with the Falcons. She has earned All-American honors the past two years and is one of the top defensemen in the women’s game. She gives the Falcons valuable experience and leadership on the blue line.
2005-06: Wallace was named to the CCM American Hockey Coaches Association West All-America team for the second straight season. She played in all 27 games and scored eight goals and 19 points. She was second on the team in scoring. Wallace scored three power-play goals and two game-winners. She had a five-game scoring streak at the end of the season with three goals and three assists. She had a three-point game (two goals, one assist) in a win over Eau Claire on Feb. 4. She started the season strong with assists in each of the team’s first two games. In an eight-game stretch at the end of the season she scored seven goals and four assists. Wallace was named to the first All-NCHA team for the second straight year. She was named the NCHA Player of the Week on Jan. 30.
2004-05: Wallace had a break through year in her second season and was named to the CCM AHCA West All-America team. She scored seven goals and a team leading 13 assists. She also led the team with six power-play goals and had one game winner. She finished eighth in the NCAA Div. III in power play goals. She adds great stick handling and ice vision to the Falcon blue line unit. Wallace was named to the first All-NCHA team and was the league's Player of the Week on Nov. 8.
2003-04: She was a regular in the Falcon lineup in 2004 playing in 26 games. She had one goal and one assist for two points. She scored her goal in an 8-1 win over Eau Claire in the NCHA Tournament.
High School, Personal: She played high school hockey at Buffalo and made the all-conference team for three years. She also played for the Minnesota Selects for seven years, yet she says the highlight of her career is winning the conference championship three consecutive years. She is the daughter of Richard and Nancy and has one brother and one sister. Wallace is majoring in business administration.

Kacie Anderson

Shattuck-St. Mary's Prep School

Kacie Anderson is back with the Falcons for her junior season and will play defense. She is in her third year with the Falcon program.
2005-06: Anderson played in all 27 games for the Falcons and finished with five assists. She picked up two assists in the team’s 6-4 win over Finlandia. She earned her second letter.
2004-05: Anderson played in 24 games in her first year with the Falcons and finished with three assists. She picked up her first collegiate point in an 8-1 win over Bethel on Nov. 12. She had assists against St. Mary's on Jan. 30 and against Lake Forest on Feb. 19.
High School, Personal: During her senior year at Shattuck-St.Mary's Prep School, she had eight points with one goal and seven assists. She helped her team win the State AAA Tournament to advance to Nationals. She is the daughter of Dane and Donna and has one brother and one sister. Anderson is majoring in business.

Renae Bergh
D, 5-6, Junior, #6

Renae Bergh returns for her junior season with the Falcons and will man a spot on defense for he 2006-07 Falcons.
2005-06: Bergh had her best season as a Falcons finishing with one goal and four assists in 25 games. She scored a goal against the No. 1 ranked Middlebury Panthers on Jan. 12. She came back the next game and had an assist against Williams. She also had an assist against St. Mary’s giving her three points in a four game span.
2004-05: Bergh stepped into the Falcon lineup and played in all 25 games. She finished with three goals and four points. She scored her first collegiate goal in her first college game against St. Catherine on Nov. 5. She also scored an important goal in the team's 5-4 overtime win over Superior in the NCHA playoffs.
High School, Personal: She played at Shattuck-St. Mary's Prep School and helped the team to the National Tournament in 2003 and 2004. She is the daughter of Randy and Carol and has three sisters. Bergh is majoring in biology.

Kelly Jensen
F, 5-4, Junior, #27

Eden Prairie High School

Kelly Jensen has put together two solid years for the Falcons and returns for her junior season. The forward has scored in double digits in the two seasons she’s spent with the Falcons.
2005-06: Jensen scored 10 goals and with seven assists finished with 17 points. She had one power-play goal and she led the team with three game winners. Her best game was in an 8-1 win over St. Catherine when she scored two goals and had two assists. She had one other multi point game – Jensen picked up two assists in a 3-1 win over Neumann. She had a four-game scoring streak at mid-season when she had three goals and two assists. Later she had a three-game scoring streak with two goals and one assist. She was named the team’s Player of the Week on Nov. 28.  
2004-05: Jensen was the leading scorer among first-year players. She had six goals and 14 points. She scored one power-play goal and one game-winner. She had four two-point games. She scored two goals in the team's 7-0 win over St. Benedict - that was also the game in which she scored her first collegiate goal. She recorded two assists in an 8-1 win over St. Mary's on Jan. 30 and in a 6-2 win over Lake Forest on Feb. 19. She played in all 25 games. She was named the team's Player of the Week on Feb. 21.
High School, Personal: She attended Eden Prairie High School where she earned all-conference and the team Most Valuable Player award in 2004. During her senior year she had 41 points with 18 goals and 23 assists. She was named the team's Most Improved in 2002 and 2003. She participated in the Junior Fest, the Senior Classic, and The Chicago Showcase tournaments. She is the daughter of Larry and Ann and she has three sisters. Jensen is majoring in elementary education.

Kristen Juven
F, 5-5, Junior, #10

Moorhead High School

Kristen Juven had another solid season for the Falcons and returns for her junior year in 2006-07. She plays forward.
2005-06: Juven played in all 27 games and finished with five goals and eight assists for 13 points. She scored two power-play goals and one game winner. She scored two goals, including the game winner, in a 5-1 win at Finlandia on Dec. 11. Juven had three assists in an 8-1 win over St. Catherine. In a four game stretch early in the season she had one goal and four assists. She was named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
2004-05: Juven played in 24 games in her rookie season. She had one goal and four points. Her goal came in a 5-3 win over Augsburg on Nov. 23. She scored her first collegiate point in her first game - she got an assist in a 6-2 win over St. Catherine. She scored points in three straight games with assists against Finlandia on Nov. 20 and 21 and the goal against Augsburg on Nov. 23.
High School, Personal: At Moorhead High School she was named to the all-conference team in 2003 and 2004 where she played forward. During her senior year she scored 11 goals and had 12 assists for 23 points. She participated in the Junior Fest and the Senior Classic. She is the daughter of Mark and Vicki and she has one brother. Juven is majoring in marketing communications.

Mandi Mohwinkel
G, 5-5, Junior, #33

Mandi Mohwinkel returns for her third season with the Falcons. The goalie gives the Falcons solid depth in the lineup.
2005-06: Mohwinkel played in seven games and finished with a 1-3-1 record with a 2.83 goals against average and a .881 saves percentage. She earned her second letter with the Falcons.
2004-05: Mohwinkel didn't see a lot of playing time but improved her skills during intense practice sessions. She played in one game and made eight saves in one period of play.
High School, Personal: During her senior year at White Bear Lake High School, Mohwinkel was named to the all-conference team. She was also named to the All-State academic team. She also helped her team to a second place finish in the 2002 Minnesota State Tournament. She is the daughter of Neal and Barb and has two brothers. Mohwinkel is majoring in health & human performance.

Jenna Scanlon
F, 5-6, Junior, #11

Apple Valley High School

Jenna Scanlon is one of the team’s top returning forwards. She has had two solid seasons for the Falcons.
2005-06: Scanlon earned honorable mention to the All-NCHA team after playing in all 27 games and scoring 13 goals and 16 points. She had two power-play goals and two game-winners. Her 13 goals led the team and she finished fifth overall in scoring. She was named the NCHA Player of the Week on Feb. 13 and the team’s Player of the week on Jan. 23 and Feb. 13. Early in the season Scanlon had a three-game scoring streak with three goals and two assists. She scored game-winning goals against Augsburg on Nov. 5  and against Eau Claire on Nov. 18. Scanlon scored the team’s only hat trick of the season against Lake Forest on Feb. 11.
2004-05: Scanlon had a good first year with the Falcons scoring two goals and six points. She scored one game-winning goal. She picked up her first collegiate point with an assist in a 8-1 win against Bethel on Nov. 12. She netted her first goal in 6-2 win over Lake Forest on Feb. 19. Her biggest goal was the overtime game-winner against Superior in the NCHA playoffs on Feb. 26.
High School, Personal: Scanlon played at Apple Valley High School where she was the team captain her senior year. In 2003 she scored 39 points with 21 goals and 18 assists. She helped take her team to a third place finish in the Minnesota State Tournament. She was named to the All-State and all-conference teams. She was also named her team's Most Valuable Player. Scanlon also played in the Chicago Showcase, was a part of the Minnesota Selects, played in the Junior Fest and the Senior Classic. She is the daughter of Charlie and Barb and she has three brothers. Brother Andy was a goalie for the UWRF men's hockey team for three seasons. Scanlon is majoring in speech communications.

Jenny Schmidt

Jenny Schmidt is in her first year with the Falcons and plays forward. She transferred to UWRF from Augsburg College. She played there for two seasons and had two goals and eight points in 2006 and three goals and six points in 2005. Schmidt played at North St. Paul High School where she helped the 2004 team to a runner-up finish in the Minnesota State Tournament. Her biggest high school hockey thrill was playing in the State Championship game in 2004. She was a team captain in 2004 and earned honorable mention to the all-conference team three times. Schmidt earned academic Honor Roll recognition every year she was in high school. She is the daughter of Jan and Jerry and has one brother. She is majoring in sociology.


 

Kelly Snedeker
F, 5-3, Junior, #19
Maple Grove, Minn.
Minnesota Thoroughbreds

Kelly Snedeker returns for her third year with the Falcons. The talented player will help the Falcons at the forward position.
2005-06: Senedeker played in 16 games for the Falcons and had one assist. Her assist was on the game-winning goal against Lake Forest on Feb. 11. Senedeker was named to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll. She earned her second letter.
2004-05: Snedeker played in 23 games for the Falcons and finished the year with three assists. She had a solid first year while contributing on both ends of the ice.
High School, Personal: Snedeker attended Osseo High School where she was the team captain in 2003, earned all-conference honorable mention and the team Most Valuable Player award. She also played in the Junior Fest and played with the Minnesota Thoroughbreds U-19 team during her senior year. She is the daughter of Dale and Judy and has one brother. Snedeker is majoring in communicative disorders.

Jessie Dyslin

Jessie Dyslin returns for her second season with the Falcons and plays defense.
2005-06: In Dyslin’s first season she played in all 27 games and finished the year with five assists. She picked up her first career point in her first game. Dyslin scored assists in back-to-back wins against Finlandia on Dec. 11 and St. Mary’s on Jan. 6. She also scored an assist in the team’s NCHA playoffs semifinal game against Superior.
High School, Personal: Dyslin helped South St. Paul High School win the Minnesota State Championship in 2005. She scored six goals and finished with 34 points from her blue line position. She was named to the All-State team in 2005. Dyslin earned honorable mention to the all-conference team in 2005 and was named to the first team in 2004. She competed in both the Junior and Senior Fest Tournaments and the Chicago Showcase Tournament. She earned all-conference honorable mention honors in soccer. She was a member of the Gold Honor Roll. She lists her biggest high school hockey thrill as winning the State Championship. She is the daughter of Mary Ann and Donnie and has one brother and one sister. Dyslin is majoring in health & human performance.

Krystin Ralston

Krystin Ralston joins the Falcons for her second year of collegiate hockey. She played last year at St. Catherine. She could help the Falcons by playing either forward or defense. She last played with St. Catherine and had two goals and three assists. She was an assistant captain of the Birdsville High School boys junior varsity team. Ralston was a member of the National Honor Society. Her biggest hockey thrill was being named an assistant captain. She is the daughter of Elaine and Robert and has one brother and one sister. Ralston is majoring in business.


 

Brook Bruggeman
G, 5-3, Freshman, #25
Moorhead, Minnesota
Moorhead High School

Brook Bruggeman is in her first year of collegiate hockey with the Falcons in 2006-07 and plays goalie. She attended Moorhead High School where she was team captain her senior season. Bruggeman earned the Most Improved Player award in 2003 and honorable mention to the all-conference team. She was also named to the second Minnesota State Tournament team. While at state, Bruggeman set the state record for saves in a tournament game with 43. Bruggeman’s sister, Amy, played for the Falcons in 2004-05 and 2005-06. She lists her biggest high school hockey thrill as going to state and breaking the state game saves record. She is the daughter of Mike and Deb and has one brother and one sister. Bruggeman is majoring in pre-med.


 

Cassie LeBlanc
F, 5-7, Freshman, #3
Anoka, Minnesota
Anoka High School

Cassie LeBlanc is in her first year of collegiate hockey with the Falcons in 2006-07 and plays forward. She played high school hockey at Anoka and tallied 21 goals and 47 points in 2005-06. LeBlanc was named to the all-conference team all four years of high school and is Anoka’s third all-time leading scorer. She captained the team and was named to the Pioneer Press All-State team in 2005. She lists her biggest high school hockey thrill as winning the section championship four years in a row. She is the daughter of Patrick and Kelli and has two sisters. LeBlanc is majoring in pre-med.


 

Stefanie Schmitz
F, 5-4, Freshman, #21
Farmington, Minn.
Farmington High School

Stefanie Schmitz joins the Falcons for her first year of college hockey and plays forward. At Farmington High School she scored 36 goals and 63 points in 2006. She was a team captain and won the team’s Hegland Award. Schmitz was voted the team’s Most Improved Player and was named to the all-conference team. Her biggest high school hockey thrill was playing in the Minnesota State Tournament. She is the daughter of Barb and Steve and has two brothers and one sister. Schmitz is majoring in health & human performance.


 

Abby Sunderman
F, 5-5, Freshman, #12
LeSueur, Minn.
LeSueur-St. Peter High School

Abby Sunderman will play forward for the Falcons and is in her first season of college hockey. At Le Sueur-Henderson High School she scored 45 goals and 56 points in the 2005-06 season. She led her team in scoring for three seasons and was the team’s Most Valuable Player in 2005-06. Sunderman earned honorable mention to the All-State team twice and was named to the all-conference team five times. She was a member of the National Honor Society, a member of  the Wind Ensemble, she earned an Outstanding band member award and a National Guard Athletic award. She is the daughter of Judy and John and has one brother. Sunderman is undecided on a major field of study.
