Forward Cassie LeBlanc (Fr., Anoka, Minn.) played two solid games for the Falcons in the NCHA tournament last weekend. Against Stevens Point, she assisted on the team's first goal at v6:13 of the first period. On Saturday against Lake Forest she had her biggest impact when she had her second hat trick game of the season scoring three consecutive goals and adding one assist. At 4:26 of the first period she assisted Abby Sunderman for the first goal of the game, and then went on to score the team's second, third and fourth goals. She scored at 8:27 of the second period and that tied the game, 2-2.. At 10:57 of the second period she scored a power-play goal to give UWRF a 3-2 lead. She scored her 10th goal of the season to put the Falcons ahead by one at 10:57 of the third period.

Goalie Amber Lindner (Sr., Moorhead, Minn.) played an outstanding weekend of hockey in helping the Falcons end their regular season on a high note. "Amber played steady and solid all weekend," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston. "She played really great in our last regular season game." Lindner made 26 saves during Saturday's 4-3 loss and made 25 during Sunday's 4-2 win against Superior at Hunt Arena. She ended her final regular season as a Falcon with an 11-7-4 record. She has a 1.79 goals against average and a .928 save percentage.

Forward Cassie LeBlanc (Fr., Anoka, Minn.) had a very impressive week as the Falcons won two of three games. She dished out her 10th and 11th assists of the season during Wednesday's 4-1 win at St. Thomas. On Saturday she led her team to a 4-1 victory at Lake Forest. She showed an amazing amount of offensive talent scoring the three goal hat trick and getting an assist on the fourth Falcon goal. "Cassie played hard all weekend and it really paid off on Saturday," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston. LeBlanc has scored five goals and has 17 points this year. She is third on the team in scoring.

Defender Jessie Dyslin (So. South St. Paul, Minn.) was one of the team's top players in UWRF's 4-1 win over Eau Claire on Saturday afternoon at Hunt Arena. "She played fantastic," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston." She was key in making two of our goals happened."Her defensive contributions left UWEC unable to score on any power play opportunities. She also contributed offensively getting her eighth assist of the season on Abby Sunderman's goal at 19:15 of the third period. This year she has scored two goals and has 10 points.

Forward Stefanie Schmitz (Fr., Farmington, Minn.) was involved in six of the team's seven goals last weekend and helped the Falcons earn three out of a possible four NCHA points. With the three points the Falcons moved into first place in the NCHA standings. Schmitz, 5-4, set a school record with four goals in the team's 5-3 win at Finlandia on Sunday. She scored four goals and had one assist. In the first period she scored three times and had one assist. Her fourth goal came in the third period. She also tied the school record for points in a game with five. In the team's 2-2 overtime tie at Superior on Saturday she got the lone assist on the game-tying goal that came with 5:52 left in regulation. She is second on the team with eight goals and is tied for the team lead with 16 points.

Forward Jenna Scanlon (Jr., Apple Valley, Minn.) played to solid games for the Falcons. UWRF finished with a 2-1 overtime win over Lake Forest and a 4-1 loss to Stevens Point. In the win over Lake Forest, Scanlon scored the game-winning goal at 3:04 of overtime. "She had a great weekend and always plays hard," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston.   Scanlon has played in all 17 games for the Falcons and leads the team with eight goals and is tied for the team lead with 11 points.

Forward Jenna Scanlon (Jr., Apple Valley, Minn.) was one of the team's top players in a 3-2 win over Bethel on Saturday afternoon at Hunt Arena. "She battled hard and played with a ton of heart," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston. Scanlon really stood out in the first period. She scored her sixth goal of the season at 3:00, unassisted. Her second point of the game came at 9:55 of the first period when she assisted Jenny Schmidt with what Cranston called the, "nicest pass ever set up by a player wearing a women's hockey uniform." It was Scanlon's third assist of the season.

Goalie Amber Lindner (Sr., Moorhead, Minn.) had an outstanding game in a 1-0 loss at Gustavus Adolphus last week. Lindner stopped 37 of 38 shots at Gustavus She had 12 saves in the first period, 17 in the second and eight in the third. "She gave us a chance to win and played really solid," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston. "She plays hard and knows that it's all about our team, and that's what makes her a good player." Linder has a 6-2-3 record with a 1.16 goals against average and a .951 save percentage. She has recorded three shutouts this season.

Forward Kelly Snedeker ( Jr., Maple Grove, Minn.) was a big help in the team's 7-2 and 6-0 sweep over Finlandia at Hunt Arena. "She played really well and was quick getting down the ice," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston. In Saturday's game Snedeker was one goal shy of a hat trick and had one assist. Her first goal was at 5:52 of the second period. Her next goal was at 17:53 of the third period. She also had her first assist of the year at 9:28 of the second period. During Sunday's game, Snedeker was the first to score at 5:35 of the first period and that proved to be the game-winner. It was her fourth goal of the season and she now has five points.

Goalie Amber Lindner (Sr., Moorhead, Minn.) was a key player for the Falcons as the team picked up three of a possible four points at No. 3 ranked Stevens Point last weekend. "Amber played great and gave us a chance in both games," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston. On Saturday Lindner played the full 60 minutes and made 27 saves in a 2-1 Falcon win. On Sunday she protected the goal into overtime and made 33 saves in a 2-2 overtime tie. She has a 1.22 goals against average and a .945 save percentage this year. Her record is 4-1-3.

Forward Stefanie Schmitz (Fr., Farmington, Minn.) played a key role for the Falcons in the team's 8-2 win at St. Catherine last week. She scored the second and sixth Falcon goals of the game, and assisted on the team's seventh goal. She has two goals and four points this year. "Stefanie has been one of our team's best back checkers this year," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston.

Forward Kelley Jensen (Jr. Eden Prairie, Minn.) played two strong games last weekend against Eau Claire. "She has been very consistent all year, and she is a team captain and a very hard worker," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston. Jensen was the only Falcon to score in Friday night's game, on a power play at 12:26 of the second period. That was her second goal of the season. Saturday night she picked up an assist on the game's only goal in a 1-0 Falcon win at Eau Claire. She now has two goals and four points this season.

Forward Cassie LeBlanc (Fr., Anoka, Minn.) helped the Falcons to two wins last weekend. The Falcons topped Bethel, 2-1, on Friday and Augsburg, 3-0, on Saturday.  She picked up assists on the game-winning goals against Bethel and Augsburg. “Cassie played like a veteran in the two games. She picked up some nice assists and was very poised,” said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston. She has one goal and two assists for the Falcons this season.

Defender Kacie Anderson (Jr., Salem Wis.) played two excellent games for the Falcons. The Falcons tied twice; 2-2 against St. Mary's and 2-2 against Hamline. Both games were played at Hunt Arena. Anderson's strong defensive play contributed to her team's success.   "She was the best player on the rink both games," said Falcon Coach Joe Cranston.
