Women
Jill Lambach (Fr., South St. Paul, Minn.) had two first place finishes at the St. Mary's dual meet on Saturday in Winona, Minn. Lambach contributed to the Falcons' win over the Cardinals beating out her competitors to finish first in the 100 and 200 freestyle races. She swam a 2:09.5 in the 200 and a 58.54 in the 100.

Men
Matt Banz (So., Eagan, Minn.)
led the men with three wins on Saturday in a dual meet against the St. Mary Cardinals. Finishing in the times of 23.19 and 50.83 Banz claimed the 50 and 100 freestyle. Banz ended the meet with a first place finish in the 100 butterfly in 56.15.

Women
Martha O'Brien (So., Hudson, Wis.) swam a consistent and strong meet to help the Falcons to a fourth place team finish in the St. Catherine Invite on Saturday.   O'Brien's performance earned her seventh place in the 400 IM with a time of 5:22.12.   She also participated in the 200 freestyle relay, 500 freestyle and 100 freestyle events.

Men
Dave Johnson (So., Ostrander, Minn. LeRoy-Ostrander HS)
had a season best swim in the 100 butterfly Saturday during the St. Catherine Invite. Johnson placed fourth in the 100 butterfly in a time of 1:06.6. As a participant in the freestyle and relay events, Johnson was of great assistance to the Falcons' second place team finish.

Women
Alyssa Adair (Fr., Maplewood, Minn. Hill-Murray HS) helped the Falcon women swim team to a win over Augsburg Saturday at the Karges Center pool. Adair led the women to the first win of the meet swimming as part of the 200 medley relay team. She also won the 50 free in 27.55 and the 500 free in 5:58.07.

Dave Johnson (So., Ostrander, Minn. LeRoy-Ostrander HS)
"had some solid swims," according to Head Coach Bill Henderson Saturday during time trails. Johnson participated in almost all of the swimming events that took place between the Falcon women's meet events against Augsburg.

Women
Joanie Aube (Fr., Sherbrooke, Que.) competed Saturday in the St. John's December Invitational. Aube took second in the 100 breaststroke finishing in 1:26.65. Aube later went on to win the 200 breaststroke with a time of 3:02.73.   Swimming in the 400 IM, Aube placed third in 5:55.38.

Men
Tyler Ormson (So., Chaska, Minn.)
used his strong endurance capacity swimming in four races Saturday in the St. John's Invitational. Ormson's top finish was in the 200 backstroke placing fifth for the Falcons in 2:21.99. In the 100 backstroke, Ormson took eighth in 1:03.47. He later went on to place 17th in the 50 freestyle in 24.73 and seventh in the 500 freestyle in 5:50.94.

Anthony Yarusso (Jr., St. Paul, Minn. Johnson H.S.) assisted the Falcons Saturday at the St. John's December Invitational while competing in three events. Yarusso finished seventh in his first event, the 100-breaststroke, in a time of 1:12.70. In 2:38.68 Yarusso finished ninth in the 200 breaststroke. In his last race of the day, Yarusso placed 11th in the 100 butterfly with a time of 1:08.57.

Women
Sara Cannady (So., Minneapolis, Minn. Jefferson HS) had two wins in the Falcons first road meet of the season at Lawrence on Saturday. Cannady placed first in the 100 and 200 breaststroke, third in the 400 IM and was a member of the 400 medley relay team which took second place. Cannady helped the Falcons score 25 points. Cannady’s time in the 100 breaststroke was 1:11.95 and 2:37.09 in the 200 breaststroke.

Men
Tyler Ormson (So., Chaska, Minn.)
finished first, second, and third in the 50, 100 and 200 freestyle events in at Lawrence on Saturday. Ormson finished in 2:02.71 in the 200 freestyle for first place. With a time of 54.91 in the 100 freestyle and 24.85 in the 50 freestyle Ormson earned second and third place finishes. Ormson also swam as a member of the 400 freestyle relay team that finished second with a time of 3:42.82. “Tyler had a super meet,” said Falcon Coach Bill Henderson.

Women
Rachael Westlund (So., Green Bay, Wis. Flambeau HS) swam strong against Eau Claire on Saturday at the River Falls High School pool. "Rachael continues to get stronger and stronger in her distance events and is swimming smart, well-paced races," said Falcon Coach Bill Henderson. Westlund competed in the 1000 and 500 freestyle earning the Falcons points in both races against the Blugolds. She finished fourth in both events with a time of 12:35.32 in the 1000 and a time of 6:01.20 in the 500.

Tyler Ormson (So., Chaska, Minn.) put in a consistent effort against Eau Claire on Saturday at the River Falls High School pool. Ormson competed in three events helping the Falcons earn 11 team points. Ormson was a member of the 200 medley relay team that finish second with a time of 1:52.02. Ormson placed second in the 100 backstroke (1:03.61) and third in the 200 freestyle (2:03.7). "Ty swims faster each week and has been working extremely hard in practice," said Falcon Coach Bill Henderson.

Women
Danielle Mandich (So., Bloomington, Minn. Jefferson HS) helped the Falcons with a strong showing in the team's season-opening meet against Macalester on Friday.   She won the 100-yard free style in 56.85 and the 200-yard freestyle in 2:06.47.

Men
Mike Brudzinski (So., Oakdale, Minn. Tartan HS) had a strong first meet for the Falcons. He won the 200-yard IM in 2:21.55 minutes and later won the 100-yard breaststroke with a time of 1:08.29. He was also a member of the 200-yard medley relay team that placed first in 1:53.86.
