Falcon soccer players Ashley Peterson (Sr., Lino Lakes, Minn. Forest Lake HS), Amy Jensen (Sr., Plymouth, Minn. Bloomington Kennedy HS), Kim Saufl (Sr., Champlin, Minn.) and Julie Sperstad (Jr., Eau Claire, Wis. Memorial HS) have all been named to the 2006 All-WIAC team.

Peterson was named for the fourth straight year and Jensen was named for the third straight season. Saufl and Sperstad were both named to the team for the first time.

Peterson, who played forward for most of the 2006 season, led the team in scoring with 17 goals and nine assists for 43 points. She scored five game-winning goals. In her four year career she finished with 37 goals, 25 assists for 99 points. The 17 goals she scored is fourth most, the nine assists is fourth most and the 43 points is fifth most in a season. The 37 career goals in second, the 25 assists is second and the 99 points is fourth most on the Falcon career list. She was named the team's Offensive Player of the Week four times during the 2006 season. Peterson was named the WIAC Offensive Player of the Week on Oct. 10 and Sept. 18.

Jensen finished with five goals and eight assists for 18 points. She finished third in points. She scored 28 goals, 22 assists and 78 career points. She was named the team's Offensive Player of the Week twice during the 2006 season.

Saufl was second in scoring for the Falcons. She had 10 goals and eight assists for 28 points. She finished her career with 15 goals and nine assists. Saufl was named the team's Offensive Player of the Week twice during the 2006 season.

Sperstad finished the season with two goals and four assists for eight points. She now has six goals, nine assists and 21 career points. Sperstad was named the team's Defensive Player of the Week once during the 2006 season.
