Oct. 16, 2006 Jason Phillippi (Jr., Maplewood, Minn., Tartan HS) finished second for the Falcons on Saturday at the Jim Drews Invitational. He ran the 8,000-meter course in 26:50. He greatly improved his time compared to last year. "Jason gets better every week; he improved 15 seconds over last year's time on a tougher course," Falcon Coach Don Glover said of Phillippi's efforts. |

Sept. 24, 2006 Chad Ernst (Fr., Richfield, Minn.) was the team's top finisher at the Griak Invitational held Saturday. He covered the 8,000-meter course in 27:30.35 and placed 87 th overall. It was his best time of the season. "Chad really stuck his nose in it for a freshman, he did real well," Falcon Coach Don Glover said. |

Sept. 17, 2006 Jake Cavanaugh (So., Cloquet, Minn.) led the Falcons at the St. Olaf Invitational held Saturday in Northfield, Minn. He covered the 8,000-meter course in 28:39. It was his fastest time of the season. He placed 62nd overall. |

| Sept. 11, 2006 Jose Rojas (Fr., Temple Hills, Md. West Potomac HS) led the Falcons at the UW-River Falls Invitational held Saturday. He ran his first collegiate race and won the 8,000-meter race in 27:01.4. It was the 16th fastest time in UW-RF history. |
