Jeff Berkhof - Men's Basketball Assistant Coach In addition to his assistant basketball coaching position, Jeff is the head women's golf coach and ad-hoc instructor in the Health and Human Performance Department. In the fall of 2004, Berkhof was named the WIAC Women's Golf Coach of the Year. Along with his on the floor coaching duties and administrative tasks, he directs the Falcon recruiting efforts, coordinates scouting and film exchange, and is director of the Falcon summer basketball camps and annual high school varsity team camp / tournament - the Great Falcon Shootout. Before coming to River Falls, he played two years at Worthington Junior College, in Worthington, Minn. In 1997, he was inducted into the Minnesota Junior College Athletic Hall of Fame. Prior to Worthington JC, he attended South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D., and was a member of the SDSU football squad. The Hills, Minn., native received his masters of education degree in sport management at the University of Minnesota in 2005. He completed his undergraduate degree at UW-RF with a major in physical education and a minor in athletic coaching in 1994. Jeff and his wife Jill reside in Hudson. Jill is a UW-RF alum and fifth grade teacher at Lake Elmo, Minn. They have one son, Benjamin, who was born in June of 2004. |

Dave Young - Men's Basketball Assistant Coach The Black River Falls, Wis., native played collegiate basketball and golf at UW-La Crosse. He recently completed his teacher education degree at UW-River Falls and is currently substitute teaching in the area. Young will be involved with player development, scouting, recruiting and helping with the Falcon Summer Basketball camps. |

Sagan will contribute to the Falcon program by helping with scouting, recruiting and supervising the student managers. He is from Elk River, Minn., where he played varsity basketball for two years. |
