2005 Falcon Golfer of the Week

Kara Coughlin (Sr., Two Harbors, Minn.)
was the team's second finisher at the WIAC Championships held Saturday and Sunday in Superior. She placed 14th overall with rounds of 84 and 84 for a two-day total of 168. UW-RF finished 5th of 7 teams. This weekend Coughlin shot her best one-day and two-day rounds of the season. Falcon Coach Jeff Berkhof said, "Kara had a great weekend at the WIAC Tournament. I am happy she was able to finish her career with a solid weekend." |

Sept. 26, 2005
Kelli Dahle (Fr., Bemidji, Minn.) was the team's top finisher at the Whitewater Invitational held Saturday and Sunday at the par 72 Prairie Woods Golf Course. She placed 26 th overall with rounds of 84 and 88 for a two-day total of 172. UW-RF finished 11 th of 17 teams. On Friday the Falcons competed in the Carthage Invitational where she shot a 91 to place 25 th overall. That meet was played on the par 72 Brighton Dale Links Golf Course and the Falcons placed seventh of 11 teams. |

Kelli Dahle (Fr., Bemidji, Minn.) shot a two-day total of 174 to place 10th and help the Falcon golf team to a fifth place finish in the Oshkosh Invitational held Saturday and Sunday at the par 72 Westridge Golf Course. Dahle's 87 was the best by a Falcon in a single round in a two-day tournament this season. |

Jenna Gutzwiller (So., Zimmerman, Minn. Elk River HS) was the team's top golfer in both meets held last week. At the Eau Claire Invitational she had rounds of 90 and 88 to finish with a two-day total of 178. She placed 46 th overall. At the Augsburg Invitational earlier in the week she shot a 93 to tie for first among UW-RF golfers. She placed ninth overall. |
