His favorite moment in college was when he scored his first To his teammates, Anderson has brought a lot of hard work to the team this year and it is paying off with him being the go to receiver. "Chris has been a team player for five years," said Falcon Coach John O'Grady. "Wide receivers at UWRF are known for their patience and blocking. He is a great route runner who has great hands. He will be successful in his post collegiate career." After getting beat by UW-Eau Claire the Falcons still feel that they can contend for the conference title this year. Anderson feels that they have a better team this year with a lot of experience. "I hope we finish the season better than we did last year and move on to the playoffs," Anderson said. Anderson, 5-8, 150 pounds is a bit undersized but uses his good route running and speed to get open for passes. "Anderson is very undersized but he still goes out there and will go across the middle for any pass. He is a true team player," O'Grady said. He decided to come to UWRF because of the small town atmosphere and the football tradition that the Falcons have. He felt that someday he would get the chance to start and play. He grew up in Green Bay Wis., and played high school football at East. He was named to the all-conference team as a kicker and earned honorable mention as a cornerback. His coach was John Kolstad. Anderson is majoring in conservation. His parents are Gloria and Lloyd. In his free time he enjoys to hunt and fish. Anderson also enjoys spending time with his girlfriend and his family. After falling to UWSP (23-16 on Oct. 15) the Falcons still have confidence that they can move the ball both or the ground and in the air. Anderson is very confident in his abilities as well as the teams. With a win at Stout (Oct. 22) the Falcons feel that they can get back into the race to contend for the WIAC championship. |
