Wallace Named to AHCA All-American Team

Falcon hockey player Jenny Wallace (So., Buffalo, Minn.) has been named to the 2005 CCM American Hockey Coaches Association West All-American team.

Wallace, who earllier this year was named to the first All-NCHA team, was one of two defensemen named to the first team. She finished second in scoring for the Falcons with seven goals and 20 points. She led the Falcons with six power-play goals and she had one game-winner. Wallace has eight goals and 22 points in her two year career with the Falcons. She was named the team's Player of the Week and the NCHA's Player of the Week on Nov. 8. She is the fourth Falcon women's hockey player to be named an All-American. The Falcons finished the year with a 13-12 overall record.

Two other players from the NCHA were named to the team. UW-Superior forward Erin Kegley and UW-Stevens Point forward Jackie Schmitt joined Wallace on the team.
