Falcon Women's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Nov. 1, 2004 Laura Murphy (Fr., Afton, Minn. Woodbury HS) had a solid effort Saturday in the WIAC Meet ran at UW-River Falls on Saturday. She finished third for the Falcons and was 43rd overall in a time of 24:56.2 over the 6,000-meter course. "She had her best race of the year," Falcon Coach Don Glover said. |

Oct. 18, 2004 Gina Schindel (Sr., Oak Creek, Wis.) had a solid race for the Falcons as the team won the Winona Invitational held Saturday. She placed fourth for the Falcons and ninth overall in a time of 20:51 over the 5,000-meter course. "Gina helped us beat a very good St. Mary's team. She has improved her time by over two minutes from the start of the season," said Falcon Coach Don Glover. |

Oct. 4, 2004 Angie Kveene (So., Willmar, MN) placed 100th overall on Friday at the NCAA Div. III Pre-National meet, and was the third Falcon finisher with a time of 25:00.5 over the 6,000-meter course. "Angie improved 56 seconds over the Griak meet and moved up to third on the team. It was her best race this year," Falcon Coach Don Glover said. |

Sept. 27, 2004 Sara Rudesill (Sr., River Falls, Wis.) had another strong race at the Griak Invitational held Saturday. She ran the 6,000-meter course in 25:30. She improved by 20 seconds the time she ran at St Olaf a week ago and she improved her last year's Griak time by 1:23. "Sara is this year's captain and is bringing her young team to weekly improvement," said Falcon Coach Don Glover. |
