Women
Kelly Deters (Sr., Sauk Rapids, MN/Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) helped the Falcons to a 99-53 win over St. Mary's on Saturday. She won the 50 free in 25.75 She swam with the 400 free relay team that had a time of 3:51.26. She was also a member of the 400 medley relay team that finished first in 4:22.26.

Men
Mike Keyser (Fr., Lake Placid, FL)
had some strong swims for the Falcons in the team's dual meet against St. Mary's on Saturday. He won the 200 back in 1:02.75 and placed second in the 200 free in 2:08.92. He swam with the 400 free relay team that finished in 3:46.07.

Laura Schultz (Sr., Ripon, Wis.) had several strong swims for the Falcons in a dual meet against UW-Eau Claire on Friday and at the St. Catherine Invitational on Saturday. At St. Kate's, she placed first in the 400 IM in 5:02.05, second in the 100 free in 58.09 and second in the 200 IM in 2:21.76. Schultz was also a member of the Falcon 200 free relay team that placed first in 1:44.24. Against UWEC she placed third in the 200 IM in 2:22.08, third in the 100 free in 57.33 and was a member of the Falcon 800 free relay team that placed second in 8:30.37.

Men
Ryan Hawke (Sr. Little Canada, Minn. Roseville HS)
had some strong swims in a dual meet against UW-Eau Claire on Friday and at the St. Catherine Invitational on Saturday. Against UWEC he placed third in the 200 IM in 2:12.61, third in the 100 back in 1:03.08 and swam on the Falcon 800 free relay team that finished third in 7:57.56. At St. Kate's he finished second in the 400 IM in 4:59.16, he placed seventh in the 100 back in 1:03.42 and fifth in the 200 back in 2:20.09. He also swam with the 200 free relay team that placed fourth in 1:35.84.

Both Danielle Cesare (Maple Plain, Minn. Orono HS) and Kelly Deters (Sr., Sauk Rapids, Minn. Sauk Rapids-Rice HS) had strong meets in the team's 120-98 win over Hamline on Friday and 105-73 win over Augsburg on Saturday. On Friday, Deters won the 100 free in 56.74 and she was second in the 50 free in 26.18. Both were members of the 200 free relay team that finished in 1:44.24. Cesare won the 50 free in 25.82 and placed second in the 100 back in 1:03.93. On Saturday Deters won the 50 free in 26.31, She had a time of 1:19.7 in the 100 breaststroke. Cesare swam with the 200 medley relay team that finished in 2:09.49. She had a time of 1:23.4 in the 100 breaststroke. Both swam with the 200 free relay team that finished in 1:49.04.

Men
Ryan Smaagard (Jr., White Bear Lake, Minn.)
had some excellent swims for the Falcons in the team's 111-101 win over Hamline. He won the 100 breaststroke in 1:08.04 and was a member of the 200 free relay team that finished in 1:34.59.

Katie Bild (So., Maplewood, Minn. North St. Paul HS)
helped the Falcons perform well in two meets last week. She finished with a lifetime best in the 200 breaststroke at the St. Mary's Invitational on Saturday. She finished in a time of 3:05.75. She also swam with the 200-medley relay team that finished in 2:09.99. In the 100 breaststroke she finished in 1:24.93 and in the 50 free she had a time of 30.95.In the St. Thomas meet she swam with the 400 medley relay team that finished in 4:46.53 and she had a time of 3:06.28 in the 200 breaststroke. "Katie has been working hard and has a great attitude," Coach Bill Henderson said.

Men
Jacob Moe (Fr., Onalaska, Wis.)
had two strong meets last week for the Falcons. In a dual meet against St. Thomas he was a member of the 400-medley relay team that finished in 4:44. He swam a 2:37 in the 200 free and a 1:04.12 in the 100 free. At the St. Mary's Invitational he finished the 100 free in 1:02.17 and the 200 free in 2:30.61. In the 50 free he finished in 26.98 and was a member of the 200 free relay team that finished in 1:42.47. "Jacob has made great progress this year as a newcomer. He has been working extremely hard and has a great attitude," Falcon Coach Bill Henderson said.

Jamie Hatch (Fr., Oconomowoc, Wis.)
had some excellent swims for the Falcons in the team's dual meet with Macalester on Saturday. She finished third in the 50 free in 26.62 and third in the 100 free in 59.04. She was a member of the 400-free relay team that placed second in 3:54.04. She also was a member of the 400-medley relay team that placed fourth in 4:47.13.

Eli Eschenbauch (Jr., Minocqua, Wis. Lakeland Union HS)
had four strong swims for the Falcons in the team's meet against Macalester on Saturday. He won the 200 fly in 2:48.63 and placed third in the 100 fly in 1:10.98. He was a member of the 400-medley relay team that placed first in 4:38.06 - he swam the anchor leg. The 400-free relay team placed third in 4:24.02 and he swam the third leg for that team.

Kelly Deters (Sr., Sauk Rapids, Minn. Sauk Rapids-Rice HS)
helped the Falcons to the team's first WIAC dual meet win in four years at UW-Whitewater on Friday. Deters won the 50 free in 26.43 and tied for first in the 100 free in 59.07. She was a member of the Falcon 200 medley relay team that placed first in 1:58.74 and the 400 free relay team that placed first in 3:55.51.

Men
Chad Goetsch (Sr., Plymouth, Wis.)
won two individual races in the team's dual meet at UW-Whitewater on Friday. He won the 1,000 free in 11:11.25 and the 500 free in 5:27.02. Goetsch was a member of the Falcon 400 free relay team that placed first in 3:38.87. He also placed second in the 200 fly in 2:18.53.
