Offense: Forward/defender Ashley Peterson (So., Lino
Lakes, Minn. Forest Lake HS) scored one of the team's two goals
in the Falcons 3-2 overtime loss at Nebraska Wesleyan on Saturday.
She scored at 78:42 to tie the game, 2-2, at the time. She had three
shots, two were on goal, in the game. The goal was her team leading
11th of the season. She has 28 points, second on the team.
Defense:Defender Amy Piersak (Fr. Shoreview, Minn. Mounds
View HS) played a strong game for the Falcons and scored the
team's first goal in the Falcons 3-2 overtime loss at Nebraska Wesleyan
on Saturday. She scored at 18:41 to give the Falcons a 1-0 lead
at the time. It was her second goal of the year and she scored on
a free kick. She finished with two shots on the goal in the game.

Offense: Forward Amy Jensen (So., Plymouth, Minn. Bloomington
Kennedy HS) had two strong games for the Falcons in WIAC play
last week. She scored the team's only goal in a 4-1 loss at UW-Stout
on Tuesday. It was her seventh goal of the season. She is third
on the team in scoring with 18 points.
Defense:Midfielder Tracy Olson (Fr., Rosemount, Minn.)
played well for the Falcons in the team's two WIAC games last week.
The freshman has played in every game and started eight contests.
She is tied for fifth on the team in scoring with three goals and
seven points.

Offense: Forward Sarah Carlson (Jr., Plymouth, Minn.
Armstrong HS) helped lead the Falcons to two important WIAC
wins last week. The Falcons topped Platteville, 1-0, on Friday and
came back with a 2-1 overtime win over La Crosse on Saturday. She
scored her 9th and 10th goals of the season. She scored the game-winning
goal against Platteville, and scored the game-tying goal against
her former team, La Crosse, on Saturday. Carlson is tied with Ashley
Peterson for the team lead of goals at 10 and leads the team in
assists with 13 and points with 33.
Defense: Defender Ashley Peterson (So., Lino Lakes, Minn.
Forest Lake HS) played two more solid games as the Falcons won
two important WIAC games last weekend. The Falcons beat Platteville,
1-0, on Friday and came back with a 2-1 win in overtime on Saturday
against La Crosse. She had the assist on the game-winning goal against
Platteville on Friday. She scored the game-winning goal in overtime
on Saturday. It was her 10th goal of the season. Peterson is second
on the team in points with 26.

Offense: Forward/defender Ashley Peterson (So., Lino
Lakes, Minn./Forest Lake HS) helped the Falcons to an important
4-1 win over UW-Eau Claire in a WIAC match at Ramer Field last week.
She scored what proved to be the game-winning goal at 7:50. Peterson
leads the Falcons with nine goals and is second with 22 points.
Defense: Stopper Julie Sperstad (Fr., Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial
HS) played another strong game in the Falcons 4-1 WIAC win over
UW-Eau Claire last week. Sperstad helped limit UWEC to just one
goal. She has scored two goals and has six points for the Falcons
this fall.

Offense: Forward Sarah Carlson (Jr., Plymouth, MN/Armstrong
HS) set a team record on Tuesday with 14 points in one game.
Carlson tied the school record with four goals and broke the team
record with six assists against UW-Superior. She contributed to
10 of the 12 first half goals for the Falcons in their 14-0 win.
Carlson now leads the team in points with 28, including eight goals
and 12 assists. "She not only showed that she can put the ball
in the net herself, but she showed shes a definite force in
setting up other players as well," Falcon Coach Sean McKuras
said.
Defense: Forward/defender Ashley Peterson (So., Lino Lakes,
MN/Forest Lake HS) tied a team record with four goals and also
had two assists on Tuesday helping the Falcons to a 14-0 win over
Superior. On Friday against UM-Morris, Peterson scored again and
assisted another in helping the Falcons to a 3-0 victory. Peterson
is second on the team with 20 points, scoring eight goals and assisting
on four. "[She is] as versatile as they come;, she can play
sweeper for 45 minutes and also play anywhere else on the field
and be effective." Falcon Coach Sean McKuras said.

Offense: Forward Amy Jensen (So., Plymouth, Minn. Bloomington
Kennedy HS) had another strong game for the Falcons in the team's
4-0 win at Bethel. She scored the game-winning goal in the 24th
minutes and added an assist on the team's second goal in the 35th
minute. "Amy continues to play well and put up points,"
Falcon Coach Sean McKuras said.
Defense: Midfielder Molly McClanahan (Sr., St. Anthony,
Minn.) played an important role in the team's 4-0 win over Bethel.
"Molly is such a versatile player that we were able to move
her around to different positions which strengthens our defense,"
said Falcon Coach Sean McKuras.

Sept. 20, 2004
Offense:Midfielder Emily Rodgers (Sr., Richfield, Minn.)
scored the game tying goal at 62:40 in the second half Friday, helping
the Falcons to a 1-1 tie against conference foe UW-Oshkosh. Rodgers
has three goals on the season and is third on the team with seven
points. "Emilys work ethic, both in games and practice,
elevates our team to the point where we can compete with other top
ranked opponents." Coach Sean McKuras said.
Defense: Sweeper Ashley Peterson (So., Lino Lakes, MN/Forest
Lake HS) scored on a penalty kick Saturday to give the Falcons
an early 1-0 lead against Whitewater. Petersons steady play
at sweeper has helped the Falcons to a 5-1-1 start. "She anchors
a great defense," Coach Sean McKuras said. "She plays
like an experienced veteran, while her resume reads that she is
only a sophomore."

Sept. 13, 2004
Offense: Midfielder Julie Shuldheisz (Jr., Anoka, Minn.)
scored the game tying goal to help lead the Falcons to a 2-1
overtime victory over Carleton. The goal was scored with only 1:09
remaining in regulation and propelled the Falcons to the overtime
win, keeping intact the Falcons flawless record. "There wasn't
a better time for her to score her first collegiate goal,"
Coach Sean McKuras said.
Defense: Defender Gina Hawkins (Jr., Inver Grove Heights,
Minn., Rosemount HS) helped limit the opponents to one goal
this week in three games. Hawkins showed off her offensive ability
scoring a goal against Concordia-St. Paul. "Gina proved herself
once again to be a solid defender and also helped influence the
offensive attack," Coach Sean McKuras said.
