Falcon Men's Cross Country Runner of the Week

Nov. 1, 2004 Zach Moe (Fr., Onalaska, Wis.) had a strong race in the WIAC Meet held Saturday at UW-River Falls. He placed 42nd overall and was the third Falcon to cross the finish line in the 8,000-meter race. He finished in 27:37.5. |

Oct. 18, 2004 Ben Kirmse (So., Wild Rose, Wis.) ran his best time of the year and placed second in the 8,000-meter Winona Invitational held Saturday. The Falcons won the meet with 21 points. Kirmse ran a 27:03 and finished just one second out of first place. "Ben ran a great race and finished second to only the first place finisher who set a course record. He beat some very good runners," said Falcon Coach Don Glover. |

Oct. 4, 2004 Kevin McDonough (Jr., Prescott, WI) was the third Falcon finisher and placed 90th overall on Friday at the 8,000-meter NCAA Div. III Pre-National meet with a time of 27:46.1. "He had a 40-second improvement over the Griak meet and made a great improvement," Falcon Coach Don Glover said. |

Sept. 27, 2004 Bobby Hanson (So., Cambridge, Minn. Cambridge-Isanti HS) had a strong race for the Falcons at the Griak Invitational held Saturday. He ran the 8,000-meter course in 28:03. He finished second for the Falcons with a 46-second improvement over his last year's time at the same meet. He also improved his time by 1:25 from his run at St Olaf a week ago. "Bobby is a hard worker and will keep getting better and better," said Falcon Coach Don Glover. |
