About the Falcon Offense

  • Running the Wishbone since 1972.
  • Quick/aggessive lineman (including the tight end).
  • Offense is most productive with at least one fast receiver who can expect man-to-man coverage.
  • Big, tough and fast fullback helps.
  • Speedy halfbacks are needed.
  • Great running and throwing quarterback will compete for All-Conference QB position.

Wanted!!

  • Lineman 260 pounds and up.
  • Tough fullback who wants to carry the ball 20-25 times a game.
  • Quick and tough halfbacks.
  • Speedy wide receivers.
  • As many great option quarterbacks as we can get.

About the Falcon Defense

  • Utilizes concepts form Arizona, Virginia Tech and Washington.
  • Led WIAC in total defense in 1992.
  • Attacking style on line.
  • Lineman attack gaps and offensive personnel.
  • DL don't need size, but speed.
  • LB need speed to force perimeter and defend the pass.
  • DB need speed to play man-to-man.
  • FS need to be football smart, tough and athletic

  • In season--100
    -By WIAC rule, we cannot carry more than 100 players once our
    playing season starts.
  • 1995--Because of natural attrition, we did not need to cut.
  • 1996--Cut 14 players
  • 1997--Cut 11 players
  • 1998--Cut 13 players
  • 1999--Cut 13 players
  • All players cut are invited to participate in off-season training and
    are encouraged to try again the following year.
