Gary "Stump" Eloranta, MS, ATC, EMT
Gary Eloranta joined the UW-River Falls athletic training staff in 1973. He earned his bachelor’s degree in geography from UWRF in 1973 and his master’s degree in school supervision from UWRF. Gary has also been an EMT and firefighter with the River Falls Fire Department since 1974.

In addition to his athletic training services, he also teaches Care and Prevention of Athletic Injuries and First Aid / Basic Life Support in the Health and Human Performance Department at UWRF.

Crystal Lanning, MS, ATC
Crystal Lanning joined the UW-River Falls athletic training staff in 2004. Prior to coming to UWRF, she worked as a graduate assistant athletic trainer at Centre College in Danville, Ken. She earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Winona State University in 2002 and her master’s degree in kinesiology and health promotion from the University of Kentucky in 2004.

In addition to her athletic training services, Lanning also teaches Nutrition, First Aid / Basic Life Support, and Athletic Training Practicum in the Health and Human Performance Department at UWRF.

Andrea Saterbak, MD
Dr. Andrea Saterbak joined St. Croix Orthopaedics in 1998. She graduated from Creighton University School of Medicine in 1992 and completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Iowa Department of Orthopaedics in 1997. After residency, Dr. Saterbak studied sports medicine for one year at the Steadman-Hawkins Clinic in Vail, Col., with an emphasis on shoulder and knee arthroscopy and cartilage regeneration techniques. She is board certified in orthopaedic surgery and an active member of the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
