2003-2004 UW-River Falls Preview
The Falcons return six of their top eight scorers from last year's team,
but also brought in 10 new players.
Top returners back include defenseman Jodi Hensch, a captain and all-time
leading scorer and defenseman Lindsy Carlson, a two-time All-American.
All-American goalie Marlene Yaeger will be in the nets along with freshman
Amber Lindner.
Transfers who will help include defensemen Nicole Magnuson (MSU-Mankato)
and Jenny Kern (MSU-Mankato). Two freshmen defensemen and five freshmen
forwards are also on this year's team.
The Falcons look to be an improved team both offensively and defensively.
The Falcons won the 2003 NCHA regular-season and playoff championships
and played in the NCAA Div. III national tournament. UW-RF placed fourth.
