Women
Rachel Clark (So., Rochester, Minn. John Marshall HS) and Kelly Deters (Jr., Sauk Rapids, Minn. Sauk Rapids-Rice HS)
both had some strong swims and finishes at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Invitational held last weekend. Clark won the 100 fly in 1:01.54 and she placed second in the 200 IM in 2:18.95. Deters placed second in the 50 free in 25.7 and second in the 100 free in 57.31.

Men
Brandon VanVleet (Sr., Grandy, Minn. Cambridge-Isanti HS)
had some outstanding efforts, and crumbled a Falcon record, at the UW-Oshkosh Titan Invitational held last weekend. VanVleet won the 50 free in 21.12, the 100 free in 47.44 and the 200 free in 1:48.01. "Brandon didn't just break the school record in the 50 freestyle, he obliterated it," Falcon Coach Bill Henderson said. "He took .39 seconds off his existing school record with a time of 21.12 which makes the NCAA Div. III B time standard. When you consider that records in the 50 free are usually broken by a few 100s of a second, Van Vleet's time is pretty amazing." He was also a member of four relay teams that did well. He swam with the 400 free relay team that placed first in 3:21.22, the 200 free team that placed second in 1:29.96, the 200-medley relay team that placed second in 1:43.13 and the 800 free relay team that placed second in 7:41.18.
