Falcon hockey player Jim Murphy (Sr., St. Paul, Minn.) has been named to the second American Hockey Coaches Association West All-America team.

Murphy, who earlier this year was named to the first All-NCHA team, led the Falcons in scoring in 2004. He scored 15 goals and 17 assists for 32 points. He led the Falcons in goals and tied for the team lead in assists. He scored two power play goals and two game winners. Murphy, who played for the Falcons for three years, scored 37 goals and 57 assists for 94 career points. He scored 11 power play goals, one short handed goal and nine game winners in his career.

In 2003 Murphy earned honorable mention to the All-NCHA team and he earned honorable mention to the All-WIAC team in 2002, 2003 and 2004.
