Offense
Fullback Owen Schmitt (Fr., Fairfax, Va.) had his second
best rushing game of the season at UW-Stevens Point on Saturday. He led
the Falcons with 150 rushing yards on 20 carries. He averaged 7.5 yards
a carry and scored the team's second touchdown on a 49-yard run in the
third quarter. He then caught a two-point conversion pass. He finished
his freshman season with 1,063 rushing yards.
Defense
Linebacker Matt Jordan (Fr. Thorp, Wis.) was the team's top tackler
in Saturday's game at UW-Stevens Point. He finished with four solo and
four assists. He had two tackles for a loss of three yards.
Special Teams
John Peterlik (Jr., Cadott, Wis.) helped the Falcons with some
outstanding returns in the team's game at UW-Stevens Point on Saturday.
He had five kick off returns for 124 yards. He averaged 24.8 yards per
return and had a long return of 47 yards.

Offense
Quarterback Troy Foss (Fr., Rice Lake, Wis.) did an outstanding
job of directing the Falcon wishbone offense against UW-La Crosse Saturday
afternoon at Ramer Field. The Falcons finished with 350 yards of offense
and scored 22 points. The UWL defense entered the game No. 1 in points
allowed and No. 3 in total defense in the WIAC. Foss carried the ball
17 times and finished with 77 rushing yards. He scored twice on runs of
4 and 7 yards also ran in a two-point conversion. He completed 2-5 passes
for six yards.
Defense
Tackle Aaron Retzlaff (So., Shawano, Wis.) played a solid game
in the middle of the Falcon defense in Saturday's game against UW-La Crosse.
He finished with two assisted tackles. His play in the middle forced UWL
to make plays to the outside.
Special Teams
Return man Roman Johnson (So., Clearwater, Fla.) came up with some
big returns in the team's game against La Crosse Saturday afternoon. He
returned five kick offs for 96 yards. He averaged 19.2 yards per return
and had a long return of 28 yards.

Offense
Wide receiver Quincey Stoltz (Fr., Madison, Wis., Middleton HS)
played a fine all-around game in the Falcons 31-21 win at UW-Oshkosh on
Saturday. He caught one pass for 43 yards. The reception came on a third-and-five
play and put the Falcons at the Oshkosh 11. One play later the Falcons
scored to take an early lead. Stoltz also threw some key blocks downfield
to spring Falcon running backs for extra yards.
Defense
Cornerback Lewis Parish (So., Onalaska, Wis.) came up with several
big plays in the team's 31-21 win at UW-Oshkosh on Saturday. Parish was
credited with three solo and three assisted tackles. He forced a fumble
in the second quarter that the Falcons recovered. In the third quarter,
Oshkosh drove to the Falcon 35 and then Parish intercepted a Titan pass
at the UWRF seven to stop the UWO drive. He also was credited with a pass
broken up.
Special Teams
Dan White (So., St. Paul, Minn., Harding HS) was credited with
two assisted tackles in special teams play for the Falcons in the team's
31-21 win at UW-Oshkosh on Saturday. UWO was limited to just 3.6 yards
per return on five punt returns and 20 yards per return on four kick off
returns.

Offense
Tackle Nick Enerson (So., Rosemount, Minn.) was one of the team's
top offensive performers in Saturday's game at UW-Stout. His blocking
helped the Falcons rush for 211 yards and 243 yards in total offense against
a strong Stout defense.
Defense
Cornerback Lewis Parish (So., Onalaska, Wis.) had a strong game
for the Falcons on Saturday against UW-Stout. He helped limit some talented
Stout receivers to just four receptions in 17 pass attempts for 115 yards.
He was credited with three solo and one assisted tackle and a pass defended.
Special Teams
Punter/place kicker Adam Bergdahl (Sr., North Branch, Minn.) handled
both the punting and place kicking duties for the Falcons on Saturday
at UW-Stout. He punted five times and averaged 42.6 yards per kick. He
had two punts inside the 20. Only three punts were returned by Stout players
for a total of 13 yards. He had three kickoff returned for 43 yards, a
14.3 per return average. Bergdahl also was good on the one extra point
attempt try.

Offense
Halfback John Peterlik (Jr., Cadott, Wis.) helped lead the Falcons
to a 44-21 win over UW-Platteville Saturday with one of the top rushing
performances in Falcon football history. He carried the ball 33 times
and finished with 324 rushing yards. He scored four touchdowns on runs
of 45, 39, 30 and 3-yards. He averaged 9.8 yards a carry. He also caught
one pass for 18 yards. The 324 yards is third most in a single game in
Falcon history.
Defense
Safety O'Neal Hampton (Fr., Richfield, Minn.) played an important
role in the team's 44-21 win over UW-Platteville on Saturday. Against
Platteville, the top passing team in the WIAC, the Falcons used extra
defensive backs in the game. Hampton filled the role well. Late in the
second quarter he picked off a Pioneer pass and returned it 18 yards to
the Pioneer 48. The Falcons scored two plays later to take a 35-7 lead
at the time. He broke up another pass and led the Falcons with six solo
and 11 total tackles.
Special Teams
Roman Johnson (So., Clearwater, Fla.) helped the Falcons put together
a strong return game in the team's win over UW-Platteville on Saturday.
He returned three punts for 16 yards and two kickoffs for 73 yards. He
had a long punt return of 16 yards and a long kickoff return of 42 yards.

Offense
Fullback Owen Schmitt (Fr., Fairfax, Va.) had a career best day
in the team's game at UW-Whitewater on Saturday. He carried the ball 32
times and finished with 181 rushing yards. He scored the game's first
touchdown on an 8-yard run in the first quarter. His long run for the
day covered 68 yards. Schmitt averaged 5.7 yards a carry.
Defense
Tackle Nic Rue (Sr., Portage, Wis.) had a strong game in the Falcons
32-28 loss at UW-Whitewater on Saturday. Rue was credited with one solo
and three assisted tackles. He was also credited with one quarterback
hurry.

Offense
Halfback John Peterlik (Jr., Cadott, Wis.) was the team's leading
rusher in a 42-28 loss to UW-Eau Claire Saturday. Peterlik rushed the
ball 20 times and finished with 171 yards and all four Falcon touchdowns.
He scored on runs on 10, 1, 46 and seven yards. He averaged 8.6 yards
per carry.
Defense
End Nate Hendrickson (Sr., Prescott, Wis.) played a strong defensive
game for the Falcons in the team's 42-28 loss to UW-Eau Claire on Saturday.
Hendrickson finished with three solo and one assisted tackle. He was credited
with two tackles for loss for a loss of eight yards. He had one sack for
a loss of six yards and was credited with a quarterback hurry.
Special Teams
Josh Meyer (Jr., Darien, Wis. Delavan-Darien HS) came up with a
blocked field goal attempted in the team's 42-28 loss to UW-Eau Claire
Saturday. UWEC lined up for a 34-yard field goal in the fourth quarter
and Meyer broke through the line to block the attempt.

Offense
Center Andy Kotelnicki (Sr., Litchfield, Minn.) played an outstanding
game against Concordia-St. Paul on Saturday. The 5-11, 280 pound senior
injured an ankle late in the third quarter with the Falcons driving and
trailing 35-20.
Defense
Safety Kyle Hoegh ( Jr., Byron, Minn.) led the Falcons in tackles
in Saturday's game against Concordia-St.Paul. The 6-1, 205 pounder had
10 solo stops and assisted on four others. He had one tackle for a loss
of two yards.
Special Teams
Kick off returner John Peterlik (Jr., Cadott, Wis.) had a second
straight week of outstanding returns for the Falcons. The 5-8, 185 pounder
returned three kick offs for 154 yards. He broke one return 90 yards for
a touchdown. The touchdown was the first play of the second half and gave
the Falcons a 17-14 lead at the time. Peterlik has returned seven kick
offs this year and is averaging 35.3 yards per return.

Offense
Fullback Owen Schmitt (Fr., Fairfax, Va.) led the Falcon offense
with a strong inside running game against Chadron State. The 6-1, 220
pounder was the top Falcon rusher with 20 carries for 136 yards. He also
scored twice on runs of six and 19 yards.
Defense
End Nate Hendrickson (Sr., Prescott, Wis.) was one of the Falcons
top players in the game against Chadron State. He had two solo tackles
and four assisted stops. He had one tackle for a loss of five yards and
one sack for a loss of four yards.
Special Teams
Kick off returner John Peterlik (Jr., Cadott, Wis.) was a key player
for the Falcons special teams against Chadron State. He returned four
kickoffs for 93 yards. He had a long return of 38 yards.
