Falcon Women's Basketball Player of the Week

Feb. 17, 2003 Guard Darcy Olsen (So., Rosemount, Minn. Eastview HS) sparked the Falcons to an 89-56 win at UW-Superior last week. She led the Falcons with 25 points, a career high. She finished 7-14 from the floor, including 5-8 from three-point range. She was 6-7 at the line. She also had eight rebounds, eight assists and two steals in 39 minutes of action.
Feb. 10, 2003 Guard Darcy Olsen (So., Rosemount, Minn. Eastview HS) had two strong games for the Falcons last week. In the two WIAC contests she was 6-14 from the field, including 3-7 from three-point range. She scored 15 points, had six rebounds and five assists in 74 minutes of playing time.
Nov. 26, 2001 Forward Erin Effle (So., Rochester, Minn. John Marshall HS) had two solid games for the Falcons as the team finished 1-1 at the University of Chicago Tournament last weekend. In the first game of the tournament, a 72-63 win over the host school, Effle scored 20 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead the Falcons in both categories. In the title game against Kenyon, she scored a career-high 25 points and had six rebounds to again lead the team in both categories. For the two games she was 17-30 from the field, includingf 1-3 from three point range. She was 10-13 from the line. She finished with 16 rebounds, two assists, two blocks and one steal. |
