UW-River Falls pitcher Dale Le Monds has been named to the All-Midwest Region baseball team.

Le Monds, a senior from Lake Elmo, Minn., and Mahtomedi, Minn., High School, was the team's top pitcher. He finished with a team-high six wins and had a 6-1 record. He led the team with a 3.38 ERA in 66 and two-thirds innings pitched. He allowed 69 hits, 34 runs and 25 earned runs. He walked 10 and struck out 36. Opponents had a .262 batting average against him.

Earlier Le Monds was one of five Falcons named to the All-WIAC team.

The Falcons finished 16-18 overall and 5-9 in the WIAC.
