May 1, 2000

Hitter: Scott DeWyre (Fr., Glenwood City, Wis.)

4-10 with two runs scored and one RBI in the doubleheader against La Crosse. He walked once. He handled 10 chances in the field without an error.

Pitcher: Dale Le Monds (Sr., Lake Elmo, Minn., Mahtomedi HS)

pitched seven and two-thirds innings against La Crosse in the team's 7-6, 11 inning win. He did not get a decision. He allowed eight hits and five earned runs. He walked just one and struck out seven.

April 24, 2000

Hitter: Nick Reimler (Sr., Brooklyn Park, Minn., Coon Rapids H.S.)

was 10-28 at the plate in eight games. He scored five runs, had six RBIs and walked three times. He struck out three times and made 23 put outs in centerfield. He also had three sacrifices. "Nick also played very well defensively for us," coach Steve Block said.

Pitcher: Dale Le Monds (Sr., Lake Elmo, Minn., Mahtomedi HS)

pitched the Falcons to a 7-3 at Oshkosh. It was UWRF's second win over the past 24 games against Oshkosh. Le Monds pitched eight innings and allowed three earned runs. He walked four and struck out three to raise his record to 6-0 for the season.

April 17, 2000

Hitter: Brad Stokke (Jr., Colfax, Wis.)

went 4-6 with two RBIs and two runs scored in the two wins over Hamline.

Pitcher: Dale Le Monds (Sr., Lake Elmo, Minn., Mahtomedi HS)

improved his record to 5-0 in the team's 10-2 win over Hamline. She pitched six innings and allowed just one earned run. He allowed eight hits and struck out five. He didn't walk a batter.

April 10, 2000

Pitcher: Bruce Grandits (Fr., Roseville, Minn.)

threw a one-hitter to beat Northwester, Minn., College, 16-0 on Tuesday. He struck out nine and didn't walk a batter.

Hitter: Joe Schmidt (So., North St. Paul, Minn., Hill-Murray HS)

was 8-14 at the plate to help lead the Falcons to four wins. He scored six runs, had five RBIs, walked twice and struck out just once. He had a double, triple and homer in the four games.

April 3, 2000

Pitcher: Dale Le Monds (Sr., Lake Elmo, Minn., Mahtodemi HS)

finished 2-0 during the team's spring trip to Florida. The right-hander pitched two complete seven-inning games in beating Florida Memorial, 12-4 and UM-Morris 14-1. In the two games he allowed 10 hits, struck out five and did not walk a batter. He allowed five runs, just two were earned.

March 27, 2000

Hitter: Tim Johnson (Jr., Eau Claire, Wis., Memorial HS)

was 5-8 at the plate in the two games. He had a double, one RBI and scored twice.

Pitcher: Dale Le Monds (Sr., Lake Elmo, Minn., Mahtomedi HS)

went the distance on the mound in the team's 12-4 win over Florida Memorial. In seven innings he scattered five hits and allowed just two earned runs. He didn't give up a hit after the fourth inning and didn't walk a batter. He struck out two.
