Swimmers Beat Lawrence

The Falcons swam very well in their meet against Lawrence University at the River Falls High School pool on Saturday afternoon. The men won 120-75 and the women won 132-89.

Alyssa Adair led the women's team, winning the mixed 1000 freestyle with a time of 11:52.34 and the 100 backstroke in 1:06.97. Mars Delgado led the men's team winning the 50 free with a time of 22.97 and the 100 free with a time of 51.34. Kevin O'Brien also won two events; the 200 IM in 2:08.58 and the 100 butterfly in 54 seconds.

Many other Falcons showed their speed in the water. Ray Carlos won the 200 free in 1:56.04. Emily Stein dominated the 100 free with a time of 58.14. Sarah Koch outlasted her opponents in the 200 IM with a time of 2:28.13. Tori Jambretz won the 100 butterfly in 1:06.51.

The Falcons divers also performed extremely well at the meet. Becca Goldman won the 1-meter event with a score of 121.9. Dan Ehrenberg won the men's 1-meter event with a score of 98.2.

The Falcons take their impressive team to Eau Claire on Saturday for a meet with the Blugolds that starts at 1 p.m.
