Offensive
Midfielder Eryn Lansverk (So., White Bear Lake, Minn.) came up with a big goal for the Falcons in the team's 1-0 overtime win at UW-Platteville on Saturday night. She scored the game-winner in the 102 nd minute to help the Falcons to the win. It was the first overtime win for the Falcons since midway through the 2007 season. And it earned the Falcons three points and a third place finish in the final WIAC standings and a home conference tournament playoff game. Lansverk, 5-4, leads the team in scoring with 11 goals and 26 points. She has scored four game-winning goals with two coming in WIAC contests.

Defensive
Defender Leah Hagen (Fr., Ham Lake, Minn. Blaine HS) played well for the Falcons in three matches last week. Hagen, 5-3, started all three games and was a steady performer for the Falcon defense in all three contests. She has scored one assist this year, her first year of collegiate play.

Offensive
Forward Janae Baron (Fr., Hermantown, Minn.) played a key role for the Falcons in the team's two wins last week over Northwestern (2-0) and Oshkosh (3-0). Baron, 5-4, scored the game-winning goal in both contests. Baron scored in the 28 th minute in the team's win at Northwestern. She also picked up an assist on the team's second goal. In the win over Oshkosh, she scored in the eighth minute and picked up the primary assist in the team's second goal. This year Baron is second on the team in scoring with nine goals and 22 points. She has had a team-high 55 shots and 33 shots on goal. She has had three three-point games this season.

Defensive
Defender Britta Elkin (Fr., Davenport, Iowa Central HS) was one of the team's top defensive players in UWRF's two shutout wins last week. Elkin, 5-8, helped the Falcons to a 2-0 win at Northwestern and a 3-0 WIAC win over Oshkosh. The Falcons allowed just one shot on goal in the Northwestern game and three in the Oshkosh contest. She has registered three assists this year. She has had four shots and two shots on goal for the Falcons.

Offensive
Midfielder Eryn Lansverk (So., White Bear Lake, Minn.) played a key role in helping the Falcons to a split in two WIAC games last week. Lansverk scored the team’s goal in a 2-1 overtime loss to UW-Stout on Wednesday at Ramer Field. She scored in the 32nd minute to give UWRF a 1-0 lead at the time. On Saturday against UW-Whitewater, she scored the game’s only goal to help the Falcons to a 1-0 win over the Warhawks at Ramer Field. She scored, beating two Whitewater players p the middle of the field, with just under eight minutes left in the contest. Lansverk, 5-4, leads the Falcons in scoring with nine goals and 21 points. She has had 39 shots and is tied for the team lead with 26 shots on goal. Lansverk also leads the team with three game-winning goals.

Defensive
Goalkeeper Rachel Thompson (So., Cedar Falls, Iowa) had two more strong games for the Falcons in WIAC contests last week. In a 2-1 overtime loss to UW-Stout on Wednesday at Ramer Field, she made three saves in just over 92 minutes of action. In Saturday’s 1-0 win over UW-Whitewater at Ramer Field, Thompson, 5-7, stopped all 10 shots on goal to record the shutout. Thompson has played every minute for the Falcons in goal and has a 6-4-1 record with a .750 saves percentage and a 1.42 goals against average. The shutout over UWW was her third of the season.

Offensive
Forward Kayla Scott (Sr., Kiel, Wis.) scored a goal in the Falcons WIAC win at La Crosse to help lead the team to a 3-1 win on Saturday. Scott's goal at La Crosse was very impressive. The La Crosse defense cleared a corner kick attempt by the Falcons. The ball came bouncing out to Scott who one-timed a laser shot from 35 feet out into the upper corner of the net. Scott, 5-8, has two goals, 12 shots, and seven shots on goal this season.

Defensive
Defender Anna Gutknecht (Jr., Buffalo, Minn.) played another strong defensive game for the Falcons in the team's 3-1 win at La Crosse on Saturday. Gutknecht, 5-8, has been a strong performer for the Falcons this season. "She has given us solid defensive play," said Falcon Head Coach Sean McKuras. "She has been a real physical presence for us and has also connected with midfielders and forwards really well." Three of Gutknecht's five shots have been on goal this season.

Offensive
Midfielder Eryn Lansverk (So., White Bear Lake, Minn.) scored two goals and three assists to lead the Falcons to a 2-1 record last week. She had a goal and an assist at UW-Superior on Wednesday in a 7-1 win, tallied an assist at UW-Eau Claire on Saturday in a 5-2 loss, and scored another goal and assist at home against Ripon College on Sunday in a 6-0 win. Head Coach Sean McKuras praised her consistency this season. He noted that she has gotten points in nearly every game played this year. Lansverk, 5-4, has scored a goal or an assist in seven of the eight Falcon games this season. Lansverk led the Falcons in scoring last season with seven goals in 16 games. She has matched that goal total in only eight games this season while adding three assists.

Defensive
Defender Jessi Larson (Sr., Winona, Minn. Cotter HS) scored an assist and helped lead the Falcons to a 6-0 shutout win against Ripon College on Sunday at Ramer Field. She has anchored the Falcons defense for the past four seasons. In those four years, Larson hasn’t missed a start. Her consecutive games played streak is now at 64. “Jessi has shown great leadership this year,” said Falcon Head Coach Sean McKuras.

Offensive
Midfielder Eryn Lansverk (So., White Bear Lake, Minn.) led the Falcon offensive attacked in two games last week. In the team’s 3-1 win over Hamline, she scored all three goals in the first half to record her first collegiate three-goal game. Lansverk, 5-4, scored at 14:44, 30:31 and 43:38 to lead the Falcons. She had four shots in the contest and all were on goal. “Eryn did a great job of controlling our offense this week,” said Falcon Coach, Sean McKuras. “She is a great distributor and our other players in the attack do a great job of getting the ball back to her.” Lansverk leads the team in scoring with five goals and 10 points. She has two game-winning goals.

Defensive
Goalkeeper Rachel Thompson (So., Cedar Falls, Iowa) played two strong games for the Falcons last week. She allowed just two goals in the two games. Thompson, 5-7, made two saves in the team’s 3-1 win over Hamline. In a 1-0 loss to Stevens Point, she made five saves. “Rachel has had a great week in goal for us,” said Falcon Coach Sean McKuras. “She made some incredible saves against Stevens Point and really kept us in the game. Rachel was fun to watch.” Thompson has played every minute in goal for the Falcons this year. She has a 2-2-1 record with a 1.33 goals against average and a .767 saves percentage. She has recorded one shutout.

Offensive
Forward Janae Baron (Fr., Hermantown, Minn.) was the team's top scorer in UWRF's first three games of the season last week. Baron, 5-4, has made a huge impression by scoring goals in each of her first three collegiate contests. She scored the second goal of the game in the team's 2-0 win over Simpson on Tuesday at Ramer Field. She added the team's first goal in a 3-3 overtime tie against Northland on Saturday at Ramer Field. Then on Sunday she scored the team's goal in a 2-1 overtime loss at St. Scholastica. Baron's six points leads the team in scoring. She has registered 13 shots and eight have been on goal. She is tied for the team lead in shots on goal with eight. "Janae is off to a great start in her collegiate career," said Falcon Coach Sean McKuras.

Defensive
Defender Cassie Stang (Fr., Stillwater, Minn. Mahtomedi HS) has had a strong start to her collegiate career with three starts. Stang, 5-7 ½, scored her first collegiate goal in the team's 3-3 overtime tie against Northland on Saturday at Ramer Field. She also picked up an assist on the team's first goal in a 2-0 win over Simpson on Tuesday at Ramer Field. Her three points is third on the team. She has recorded 16 shots and eight have been on goal. She is tied for the team lead in shots on goal with eight. "Cassie has started all three games and has played every minute in every game," said Falcon Coach Sean McKuras.
