Midfielder Julie Sperstad (Sr., Eau Claire, Wis. Memorial HS) played well in the team’s two matches against Stout and Stevens Point last week. She picked up an assist against the Pointers. She has played in 16 games and is second on the team in scoring with two goals and five points.
Defense
Defender Tracy Olson (Sr., Rosemount, Minn.) played two solid games for the Falcons. She was a key defender for the Falcons in the matches against Stout and Stevens Point. She has played in and started all 17 matches for the Falcons and has registered three assists. |

Offense
Forward Kelly Piersak (Jr., Shoreview, Minn. Mounds View HS) gave the Falcons plenty of offense in three games last week. In the three games she had five shots and led the Falcons with three shots in a 1-0 loss to Concordia-Moorhead. This year she has played in all 15 games. She has one goal and has had 24 shots.
Defense
Goalie Emily Stieler (So., Ham Lake, Minn. Andover HS) played very well in goal for the Falcons in three games last week. She had 11 saves in a 1-0 loss to Bethel and 11 in a 1-0 overtime loss to Concordia-Moorhead. In a 0-0 overtime tie with Platteville she made four saves. She has a 1.43 goals against average with season. She has started all 15 games and has a 2-10-3 record. She has recorded two shutouts and has a .820 saves percentage. |

Offense
Forward Kelly Piersak (Jr., Shoreview, Minn. Mounds View HS) played a key role in the team's two WIAC matches. Piersak scored the game-winning goal in overtime at Superior. She scored on a header of a corner kick in the 99th minute. Piersak had three shots at Superior and five shots in the two games. The win snapped a nine game Falcon non-winning streak. She has played in all 12 games for the Falcons.
Defense
Defender Tracy Olson (Sr., Rosemount, Minn.) played two strong games for the Falcons and continued her strength and leadership on the field. Olson picked up an assist on the team's game-winning overtime goal at Superior. Coach Sean McKuras claims that Olson is the "best defender" on the field and will need to continue to play at her best as the team enters the stretch run of the season. She has started all 12 games for the Falcons and has three assists. |

Midfielder Betsy Straub (Jr., Rosemount, Minn.) played well in the team's 3-0 loss at St. Thomas on Wednesday. "Betsy was formidable in the midfield and helped the team stay in control," said Falcon Coach Sean McKuras.
Defense
Midfielder Jen Terry (Jr., Shoreview, Minn.) continues to prove her skill and talent as she helps the Falcons on both offense and defense. Coach Sean McKuras explains that she has been the "most consistent player" on the team this season. Terry has one goal and two assists this year. |

Offense
Defender Anna Gutknecht (Fr., Buffalo, Minn.) scored her first career goal in the team's 1-1 overtime tie at home against Whitewater on Saturday. "Anna scored her first goal and it couldn't have come at a better time," said Falcon Coach Sean McKuras. Gutknecht also came away with one shot against St. Benedict.
Defense
Defender Tracy Olson (Sr., Rosemount, Minn.) showed leadership and skills in the team's 1-1 overtime tie at home against Whitewater and a 2-0 loss at St. Benedict. "Tracy has settled into her role as senior captain and played like an Al-WIAC defender," said Falcon Coach Sean McKuras. |

She made four saves in a 3-1 loss at Macalester and blocked eight shots in a 1-0 loss to Carleton. "Emily is a strong player and helped us hold on throughout the games," said Falcon Coach Sean McKuras. |

Forward Dianna Hermes (Jr., Prior Lake, Minn.) helped the Falcons to a 2-0 win over Northland on Friday in the Advantage Cup Tournament in Duluth, Minn. She picked up the assist on the team's first goal in the 29 th minute and scored an insurance goal in the 35 th minute. She now has three goals and four assists in her career. "Dianna came out and gave us some offensive power that helped create both goals," said Falcon Coach Sean McKuras. Hermes was named to the All-Tournament team.
Defense
Defender Tracy Olson (Sr., Rosemount, Minn.) played steady defense, and contributed to the offense, in the team's two games at the Advantage Cup Tournament played in Duluth, Minn., last weekend. She picked up the assist on the team's only goal in a 2-1 loss to St. Scholastica. It was her third career assist. "Tracy showed why she's one of our captains and the anchor of our defense," said Falcon Coach Sean McKuras. |
