Bergsrud Dies on May 30

Long time Falcon coach and administrator, Ben Bergsrud, died on May 30. He was 83 years old.

He was the Falcon golf coach from 1957 until his retirement in 1988 - a span of 31 years. He also helped start the Falcon wrestling program, was an assistant football coach and athletic director.

He coached Tim Kelley to the WIAC golf medalist honors in 1977 and 1978. The Falcons finished third at the annual WIAC Meet in 1977.

He is survived by his wife, Marjorie, a daughter, Michelle and son, Randy.
