Former Falcon men’s basketball standout Rich Melzer has been named to the D3hoops.com All-Decade fourth team.

Melzer was named the National Association of Basketball Coaches Player of the Year in 2004. He was also named the WIAC's Player of the Year in 2003 and 2004 and helped lead the 2004 team to the WIAC championship. It was the team's first WIAC title in 54 years. He was named to the NABC second team in 2003 and first team in 2004.

Melzer is second all-time in scoring (2,363 points) and third all-time in rebounding (821) at UWRF.
