	Interns indicate duties performed: This was a special type of internship unlike your typical 'report to the office every day' internship. I worked on completing a research project. Duties included researching sources, defining my research objective, interviewing individuals, attending one-on-one sections with internship supervisors and finally completing a full curriculum on the country of Sudan, focusing on genocide.
	Students identified positive aspects of this placement: The ability to gain valuable research and professional skills in an established learning environment.
	Students identified difficulties typical in this placement: Because site supervisors often leave town/country, an intern (depending on your duties) have to know what is expected and how to work effectively without much assistance.
	Students identified qualities/characteristics required to be successful at this placement: Willingness to learn through research, able to handle constructive criticism, good time management, travel and interest in genocide or human rights issues.
