Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD)
The Sociology Department at the University of Wisconsin - River Falls has a chapter in the International Sociology Honor Society - Alpha Kappa Delta (AKD). Every spring semester is open enrollment for AKD. To be eligible for initiation to AKD you must meet the following criteria:

Officially declared sociology major.

At least junior status.

Completion of at least twelve credit hours (semester credit) of sociology prior to initiation (exclusive of extension courses and pass/fail courses).

Attained GPA of 3.0.

Attained GPA of 3.25 in all sociology course work.
