UW-River Falls has become home to a growing number of students who have themselves – or with their families – come to this country as refugees.
“Shelter from the Storm” is a collaborative venture between the UW-River Falls Admissions Office and the Department of Journalism designed to engage the campus in a dialogue about the unique challenges and journeys of its refugee students.
The project was funded through a University of Wisconsin-River Falls Race and Ethnicity grant.
