As a student you can get involved in more than 120 student organizations
from public relations to concert choir to student government. Student
organizations are open to all University students, regardless of major.

Theatre
Interested in any aspect of theatre? See us for
details on the season, audition dates, field trips, backstage opportunities,

Forensics
The forensics team travels to tournaments throughout the school year and
offers competition in a variety of individual public speaking and oral
interpretation events, including Lincoln-Douglas Debate. Faculty Advisor

Masquers
Masquers Student Theatre Organization produces, supports, and promotes
student involvement in theatre. Each year, Masquers produces one major
production, giving students full responsibility in all areas. Past shows
have included such holiday favorites as A Christmas Carol, classical pieces
like Antigone and works by contemporary playwrights. Masquers also produces
a one-act play festival, sponsors, workshops, and organizes field trips.

Focus Productions
Focus is a student organization that has produced quality student programming
such as the weekly talk show -- FOCUS
ON U -- for the past ten years. Focus Productions are aired on University
and city cable systems. Positions are available in front of and behind

NCASC
The National Communication Association Student Club meets every Tuesday
afternoon at 3 PM in the St. Croix Room of the Hagestad Student Center.
The club promotes effective and ethical communication through development
of communication skills, building teamwork and creating real-life experiences.
