Campus Integrated Marketing CampaignWhy an Integrated marketing plan? In the summer of 2006, 200 hundred faculty members participated in a brainstorming session at the River Falls Public Library. During that session faculty expressed a need for better communication with our regional stakeholders and prospective students. Responding to this feedback, the UW-River Falls external relations committee recommended hiring a consulting firm to develop a more effective branding and marketing plan for the university. This recommendation was embraced by the faculty senate. A nation-wide search began for a marketing firm that could help UW-River Falls tell its story and strengthen its identity. Twelve firms responded and the campus marketing firm search committee chose Woychick Design of Minneapolis to guide us through creating the tools and plans to effectively market the university.
