Dr. Tracey Gladstone, professor (Ph.D. Purdue University 1981, M.A. Purdue University 1977) specializes in political philosophy and is the University's pre-law advisor.  She has co-authored a very successful American politics textbook, The Web of Democracy that is now in its second edition. She has also been very active promoting voter registration and participation, and was awarded the 2007 College of Arts and Sciences University Service Award.
