double counting). However, if a student chooses to complete the course, POLS 379, Internship in Political Science, only 6 credits from that course may apply to Electives in Political Science.
Any additional credits earned from an internship experience count toward free electives and are included in the 120 credits needed for the B.S. degree. Finally, Political Science majors must take
a minimum of 15 credits in courses numbered at the 300 level or higher, excluding any internship credits. Total Credits Required (36 credits) A reminder:
to graduate with a B.S. in Political Science, each student must: attain a minimum Grade Point Average(GPA) of 2.00 overall, and a minimum Grade Point Average in Political Science courses of 2.25.
