Dr.
Prochnow retired (most recently) from the Physics
Department in 2000. Dr. Prochnow was the recipient
of the award for "Excellence in or Service to Teaching Physics at the
College Level" presented by the Wisconsin
Association of Physics Teachers at the statewide meetings in October 1995. He
was involved as an administrator of the Physics Adaptation Program, a program
designed to provide high school science and math teachers with the
certification to teach physics.
