University of Wisconsin - River Falls Physics Department Professor Kermit Paulson Education M.S. in Physics, University of Wisconsin - Madison, Madison, Wisconsin B.A. in Physics, Augsburg College, Minneapolis, MN Personal Profile Professor Paulson retired from the Physics Department in the Summer of 2001. He was the President of the North Central Chapter of the Health Physics Society during 1995-96. From 1990-91, he was the President of the Wisconsin Section of the American Association of Physics Teachers.
Professor Paulson taught at UW-River Falls from 1984 to 2001. He previously taught at UW-Green Bay, Augsburg College and Oak Ridge Associated Universities. He has been an active consultant to 3M Company, Northern States Power Company and Oak Ridge Associated Universities. Professor Paulson was named "Outstanding Faculty Member of the Year" in the College of Arts and Sciences in 1996. He was awarded the "Award for Excellence" from Oak Ridge Associated Universities in 1989 and an "Outstanding Service Award" from Augsburg College in 1986. Primary Courses Taught
