UWRF Hosts Financial Aid Information Night

DEC. 19, 2008--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls will host its annual financial aid information night from 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6 in the University Center’s Riverview Ballroom.

High school students and their families and others interested in exploring options for financing higher education at UWRF and elsewhere are invited to attend the free workshop. The workshop includes information on the 2009-10 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) as well as federal and state financial aid programs.

Attendees also will learn how to complete the FAFSA application online, and counselors will be available to answer questions. Drawings will be held for gift baskets for college-bound students, and students must be present to win.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Campus signs will direct visitors to parking and the University Center, located on Wild Rose Avenue. For area and campus maps, visit http://www.uwrf.edu/map.
