Northwest Airlines Senior VP to Speak at CBE Event

OCT. 7, 2008--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls College of Business and Economics will host Crystal Knotek, senior vice president of customer service and airport operations for Northwest Airlines, on Oct. 22 from 2 to 3 p.m. in the Kinnickinnic River Theater at the University Center as part of the CBE's Executive-in-Residence program.

Her presentation, "Flying Together," will discuss the service challenges and opportunities facing major airlines today. As senior vice president of customer service and airport operations, Knotek, who lives in River Falls, is responsible for overseeing all areas of the airline's operations and customer service. Prior to this position, Knotek was vice president of reservations and customer care for Northwest Airlines, where she managed the airline's five domestic call centers as well as its customer care organization.

Knotek received her bachelor's degree from Concordia College, Minn., and a master's degree in marketing education from the University of Minnesota.
