UWRF Student Saxophone Quintet to Hold Concert

JUNE 6, 2008--The University of Wisconsin-River Falls Nothin' But Sax Quintet is having a concert to help raise money for its trip to Shih Chien University in Taipei, Taiwan, a sister institution to UWRF on June 14 at 7 p.m. at the Bethel Highlands Theater, 504 Frontage Road, Hudson.

The concert is free to the public, but donations will be accepted to help the quintet fund its trip to Taiwan in July.

The quintet's members include student Eric Possehl of Hudson, Mike Pearson of River Falls, Katie Osterdyk of Pine City, Minn., Katie Herdan of St. Joseph, Minn., and Josh Greenwood of Poplar, accompanied and directed by music professor David Milne and Chris Ashwood.
