JUNE 2, 2008--The annual Tuesday-evening University of Wisconsin-River Falls free summer concert series begins June 10 and runs through July 22 at 7 p.m. in the Melvin Wall Amphitheatre on campus.

Grilled brats, hamburgers, soda, and ice cream will be available for purchase on the concert. Rain site for the concerts is the UWRF University Center Falcon's Nest.

June 17 is the Tropical Breeze band, which plays Caribbean-style music that will take listeners on a virtual trip to the island tropics with musical influences from Jamaica, Trinidad, Virgin Islands, and the Bahamas.

The Roster McCabe band plays June 24, with an impressive show of vocals, world beats and harmonies.

On July 1 Wisconsin's musical ambassador show choir, The Kids From Wisconsin, return to River Falls. The choir is made up of musically talented youth--sings, musicians and dancers--from the Badger state.

The Tommy Bentz band performs July 8, putting on a rock-and-roll showcase of great musicianship and songwriting.

The combo Sepia Tone on July 15 offers a palette of sonic color and musical experiences by blending styles of classical, jazz, modern, folk, country, funk and blues music.
